Thank you for the reassurance. :D Bif/Derby is almost too hawt to handle, and I haven't even played the game! I've just watched almost all the cutscenes on Youtube and tried to find fanfics/fanart. Yours is excellent, by the way. :3

I'm just worried that if I someday find a boyfriend who tolerates me, I'm going to slash him with other men and then go all batshit 'cause I convince myself that he has an affair with some of them and then break up with him. xD Whew, that's very unlikely to happen, but it's not impossible...

101. I know what you mean. Being stalked around a bookstore by someone talking about a series I've made very clear I wasn't into is hardly my idea of a good time. I don't want that sort of thing nonstop for a weekend. I know that not all of them are like that -- there is no generalization intended here, but one, two, three of them would be enough to freak me out enough to label it a negative experience. I'm extrememly uncomfortable with people being in my face.

106 Lazy characterization happens in every fandom! Other people: don't get put off, there is definitely good fic in KKBB fandom. Eventually someone will write a fic that pushes the balance in the other direction.

116 Anything will become unfunny when enough unfunny people drive it into the ground. The 4-chan, and for that matter the lolcats and the capslock, style of humor isn't mine, but when you give people crappy catchphrases then nonfunny people just repeat them and make them lame, and then we get crap like !!!ELEVENTY-ONE!!1!! which was never funny.

102. Nostaglia, nostaglia, my friend. I remember PLENTY of badfic back then (I faintly remember this one fic that bad shit kept happening over and over again. I mean DAYUM and it wasn't a shining example of GW fanfics). Even so, I still miss the fandom. D: It was my introduction to BL.
