I just played it this summer for the first time. Illusion of Gaia was one of the most important games of my childhood, so I decided to play the other two.

Terranigma was amazing, and it's on the secret especially because the interactive aspect -- the fact that you are in control -- is extremely important to the impact of the storyline and the consequences of expansion. It would not have been the same in any other format.

Well, I don't take art quite that sexually, but it pulls me into such an intimate place that I get really upset if anyone tries to disturb me while I'm trying to finish a painting or even just a drawing. I think that's why artists can sit down & paint for hours upon hours, no food/contact/etc. & just do their work, because of that intimacy.

142. I had to stop reading for a bit at that part. Actually, when they got to the underworld at all, I got really scared. You know, it's like someone could find this book a thousand years later & take it for gospel & create a religion, it's so detailed. I was especially scared of the frail God, since who knows if anything is true? If P.P made something so convincing in a 'children's' book, who's to say the bible weren't just some stories as well?

101. GOD YES Though I don't think it's so much fandom people, as over-privileged teens with poor social skills. Unfortunately, those are the people who make up 90% of the con population, and they don't understand that even though they are at a con with like-minded individuals, they still need to have a certain amount of social decorum. Like not randomly screaming or tackling people. Or not blocking hallways and walkways. Or not leaving trash everywhere. Or tipping waiters.

Whenever I go to a con I feel like I have to act extra-polite to everyone (especially non-convention people) to try to battle the suck. Not all fandom people are loud and annoying, but most of them certainly act that way. -__-

I'm exactly the same way. I try to not let it get to me, BUT FUCK I NEED VALIDATION or I don't think I'd bother writing at all. Negative comments weigh on me for far too long, and I have to put in a serious fucking effort not to be a retarded asshat to people who give me even genuine constructive criticism. :(
