As somone who has lost a lot of sleep, patience and empathy over the last month, the only reason I pray for no terror attack on celebrating people tonight is please please please don't make soccer a symbol of martyrdom, I couldn't live with a Je Suis Football display. Also, the Alien in Alien: Covenant.

I actually wanted Tom Hardy's character to survive in the Revenant because literally every character in that movie was more interesting than DiCaprio's.

Went to the most recent Jurassic (whatever) film and wanted dinosaurs to eat people. Not sure that wasn't the filmmakers' intent, tho.

Watching my favorite things with people super stresses me out. What if they don't like it? What if they think I'm too childish for liking the thing?

Probably because my best friend/roommate shows me stuff they like all the time and I get excited with them for the sake of being excited, but when I do the same they just kinda shrug and/or raise a skeptical brow. :(

I missed work today because I have food poisoning or something like it—looking at symptoms it might be gallstones but idk—and I feel so cruddy I can’t concentrate on anything, or sleep. And I’m hungry but I can’t eat.

But I don’t want to go to the doctor—last time I talked to my doctor about getting tested for PCOS he said I needed to stop eating processed food (not that I eat a lot to start with) and dairy (you can pry cheese from my cold dead hands fucko) and my symptoms would go away. I’ve been vegetarian for 25 years and walk five miles a day, and don’t smoke, drink, or take recreational drugs, but I’m fat so that must be the root of all my problems. So I don’t want to make an appointment. I hope this goes away on its own. In the meantime I guess I’ll just lay on the couch and be miserable.

Anyone got any advice?

So, my sister, her boyfriend, and I are going to DC next March. My sister was talking to me about how she thinks her boyfriend (they've been together 2+ years) might be thinking of proposing to her.

She asked me to maybe drop hints to him that if he is, DC might be a good place to propose because she loves that place (and it is scenic). And I will be there to document it.

However, I am about as subtle as a brick to the face. So I thought about just asking him something like, "I don't know if you are thinking of it, but if you are, DC might be a good place to propose." But, I also don't want to be like...pushing him into it if the hints she is getting are wrong.

TMI period question.

I'm aware that as you get older, your menstrual cycle might change. Mine has settled into this routine:

Day 1: Light spotting
Day 2: Maybe more light spotting, it depends
Day 3: ALL THE BLOOD RAWWWWRRRRRRR BLOOD BLOOD BLOOD BLOOD BLOOD!!!!
Day 4: Lighter flow
Day 5: Almost no blood, but the occasional... leak of clear liquid with a tiny bit of blood

It's day 5 that gets me. The discharge is mostly not-blood, though there's blood in it. I can go for half a day with nothing, which tricks me into thinking it's over and then... watery discharge. Maybe like 1/2 tsp. to 1 tsp. of it and sometimes it's enough where I have to change my underwear altogether. It only happens during the end of my period cycle. Does this happen to anyone else?

Migraine and fever

I've had a migraine all weekend. This evening, I seem to have developed a low fever. It is only 100.2. Is this something I need to see my doctor about, or is it a normal migraine side effect?

Most hated minigames/sidequests

My partner is doing his first run of Final Fantasy X, and even all my complaining about how terrible the Blitzball minigame is didn't quite prepare him for it. He lost 1-0 and is very salty right now. I would rather do the lightning dodging or the chocobo races again than ever have to play one more goddamn Blitzball game.

Which minigames or sidequests make you rage? Bonus points if they're mandatory.
