159. Hey, that's okay. We're all allowed to have our own personal take on things and preferring one thing over the other--even if the one you don't choose is considered better in general--is just fine. :)

I do personally think Cowboy Bebop was better and is one of the best anime of all time, but Champloo certainly had its moments and I can see why some people would prefer it.

118. I wouldn't say the musical fans are disliked by the fandom... most of us LOVE the musicals too. ♥ But, if you're going to refuse to watch the anime/manga... I could understand why some people who be a little annoyed that you won't even give the original thing that gave birth to those musicals a chance. Maybe try watching a little of it and see if you like it?

147. Really? Once I stopped being too shy to talk to people, I found it much funner to hang out with fans then go panels and videos. In the last two cons I went to, I only went to one event at each because I met some really fun people. :)

137. I've never read Eragon, but I'd have to disagree about HP/HDM. I don't think Harry Potter is God's gift to fiction/fantasy/whatever, but I enjoyed them. And I think His Dark Materials is fabulous - I've 18, and I've thought so since I was about 10 or so. Every time I read them I get something else out of it, and I've just read them again after reading Paradise Lost, and it added a whole new dimension to it. I also happen to think that's a silly thing to lose respect over, but whatever.
