I've read the first two chapters of Bakuman a few days ago, and I'm about prepared to barf. If it were done by any other author, I would have still given it a benefit of a doubt but then I remember that this is done by the same guy who made Death Note. Don't these authors know that trolling requires subtlety?

This is why I stick to my josei/seinen (not to say that there aren't sexist josei/seinen manga out there, obviously there are, just that I rarely come across them amongst the kind of authors I favor) and am very particular with my shounen/shoujo. There are well-written (that doesn't reek of sexism) shounen/shoujo out there, you just have to look.

142, I don't want to see Donna come back in canon either, as it stands I can believe Torchwood contacted her regarding some small matter (since the Doctor didn't seem to bother about telling anyone other than her immediate family that remembering him would be bad) and she had the predicted melt-down but then managed to fight through it. Then she finds Dalek Caan in the Torchwood basement (I didn't see him die, the batshit is NOT dead) and the two of them build a Timeship out of broken bits and head off to have their own wild and wacky adventures across space and time.

If TPTB can't come up with a story that makes me as happy as that one does, then I want them to leave Donna alone!

It's this awful little pamphlet-book-majigger that's against homosexuality. I'm not entirely sure on this, but I think it was called 'Deathstyle'. I'm pretty sure that my grandfather wrote it before I was even born. orz Way to make all Christians look bad there, Poppy.
