Naw, mate, if you're going to get all pissy if someone on facebook blabs that the boat sinks in Titanic, then don't go on facebook. It's not the rest of the world's responsibility to avoid talking about popular culture until you decide to catch up.

He was as much a victim of abuse as the others

But he also abused the others

So fuck him

EA Games are the fucking serial killers of the games world
They've destroyed too many fine series
They must be stopped

Right. I mean....If at least Noir and Ham weren't in there, that would have been a horrendously wasted opportunity with the art and animation style they chose.

a catgirl that goes nyaa and acts like a cat and rubs up against things and is mentally way more cat than human

This fits somewhere on the spectrum, and is a conversation of its own, but that's really not what most a/b/o is like, at all. You know that, right?

The majority of a/b/o, the characters think and behave almost entirely human, except when they're in heat. And even in heat, they remain human-looking, they talk, they move like humans, they kiss, they engage in anilingus and fingering, often they worry about getting proper consent, sometimes they worry about pregnancy, and sometimes they use contraception. All human things.

The animal basis for a/b/o is almost entirely incidental. If people liked a/b/o because they were into doggie porn, it would be about a hundred times...doggier.

Uh...I think this is the kind of thing that only sounds reasonable if you have a serious gate owner for Luther. If you don't, it just kind of sounds a bit nuts.

(Anonymous) 2019-04-17 01:00 am (UTC)(link)
By that logic, wouldn't it be fuck everybody?

(Anonymous) 2019-04-17 01:01 am (UTC)(link)
Which movie? The caption says Aquaman but that shot us from Justice League.

(Anonymous) 2019-04-17 01:03 am (UTC)(link)
I think it's great that you feel things, OP!

Agreed. I mean, if your ship really, truly is canon (as in, even non-shippers agree that it's canon) then there's nothing wrong with asking a question about it (though it's still possible to ask cringy, inappropriate questions, even if your ship is canon).

But if canon does not ship the ship you do, ugh, for the love of god, please do not ask about it.

Lol I got 'in trouble' for "spoiling" Tristan and Isolde when that movie came out.

Like, it's a Greek tragedy, yo. If you didn't already know everyone's probably going to die...

You've never played the games before, but you miss how she was in the first one???

Wow, I would honestly find it impossible to be in a friendship like this.

Yes to Jumanji. Loved it. Helped that I already loved most of the cast.

That's definitely the first thing I thought of too. (I personally don't care one way or the other about Reylo but I don't see the point of asking her the question.)

I liked noir spider-man. Although I’m sad his costume wasn’t like the comics since that’s my fav spidey suit but yeah that’s just my biases. The other two were godawful and spider-pig worked more as a one off joke than a whole character. Miguel should’ve been in more though even if his cameo was hilarious.

There is hope for him, I definitely think that there is.

It all depends though on the character development path that they lead him on in S2. The first season was a wonderful study in 'what not to do!" from every single person in the Umbrella Academy. Everyone in that series made a choice that negatively effected the outcome of the series. The next season hopefully will get the characters thinking of perhaps what they could do better this time around.

wow it makes me super uncomfortable to call someone a coward for failing to stand up to their lifelong abuser

yeah of course he displaces and punches down, that's how abuse teaches you to stay safe

is it, at some point, Luther's responsibility to be an adult and stop hurting people around him? yeah, definitely. is it totally understable to hate him for doing a lot of fucked up counter-productive stuff? yeah

but there seems to be a willful refusal to understand the psychological consequences of abuse still happening for imperfect or insufficiently likable victims underlying this comment and I do not care for it

(Anonymous) 2019-04-17 01:21 am (UTC)(link)
I liked them all, actually, and would have appreciated more time on them. One of the main points was the diverse ensemble, after all.

I don't really like Labyrinth. I love David Bowie and I love muppets but somehow the combination did nothing for me, especially the songs. But I'm afraid to actually tell people this because people love it so much.

the others, however, are perfect victims with no fleas at all

why do you even watch morally complicated shows
