I don't think you realize that they aren't going for completely original with this. They do their research and do things based off REAL mythology and Legends. and Angels ARE like that according to Myth and Legend.

168. Actually, I think it's harder to write fanfiction correctly than original writing, IMO and in my experience. You have to keep to a certain guildline and I find it helpful to keep characters reign in and consistent and helpful to experiment new writing techniques. It's easy to fudge more on original writing and don't get call on it unless it's really out of character. Plus, your friends enjoy it, let them be.

178. Dude, Toonami existed for 11.5 years, that's 2.5 years longer than Naruto been around. Research before making secrets plz. A lot of anime fans were sad because it was because of Toonami they became anime fans (hell, it introduced me to Daft Punk, one of my favorite bands, and the Gorillaz) and now it's gone. Nearly everyone agrees that form of Tom was the worst fucking ever and rather forget about it. And Naruto won't disappear because Toonami's cancellation either.

if you want your character to do something that you realize isnt in-character for them, you have free reign to tweak their characterization so that it makes sense. but you dont have that option with fanfic, you have to play by someone else's rules, find new angles. its challenging in a completely different way than original fiction, and i really wish that people would just stfu and realize it.

He came to my third grade class a number of times, and after I went to most of his fundraisers. I'll NEVER forget the last time I saw him, or any of the things he said.

I never saw the movie, I was to scared that they'd make him out to be something he wasn't. But I'm glad he's affected your life.

179. Snape is canonly bookish, there's no other explanation for his house in Spinner's End to have every inch of the walls covered in books, as well as them lying open on tables. There's no evidence that he's interested in fiction or literature (since for all we know, every book in that house is Potions & Dark Arts), but he's clearly bookish.

There was a reason why I followed Angel a lot more and pretty much just watched Buffy because it was the parent series. And because there was Spike and Xander and Giles and pretty much everyone who wasn't Buffy although personally, I thought the entire damn series started falling apart at the seams after Season 5.
