101. I have a similar problem. I'm incredibly close to my cousin, but she's VERY Christian (reads the Bible every day, I think), so I keep most of my fandom life secret from her. She doesn't... actively hate on gays, but she certainly doesn't approve of them either. But then she watches and enjoys Ouran and I'm like... What. :| I hope someday the clue-by-four will smack her across the forehead, but I'm not holding my breath.

Oh, and hilarious anecdote: because of her faith, she always likes to read manga with any kind of angels in them. Once, we were talking about what manga series we wanted to read and she was like, "Whatever you do, DO NOT read Angel Sanctuary! It's not at all what you think it would be!" I lol'd forever.

I don't get it either. All of the fictional Roys I've encountered have been incredibly cool, so it's a worthy name to be named after. (As for real life Roys, I'm not sure Sigfried's Roy is all that cool, but eh.)

Unless it's a girl named Roy, in which case I can see where some strange looks would come from.

Miss the point much? I've been happy with the show since first cast and that includes all later incarnations (ok, double casting was insane, but so was spanning five months with performances and taking the casts anywhere and everywhere).

I wish I had your hatred of it, maybe then it wouldn't break my heart to miss it. (Actually, that's a lie - if I hated it then I wouldn't smile everytime the music comes on my iPod, or find such enjoyment in the shows, and I wouldn't give that up for anything).
