Jennifer Morrison because of her character on House. I've mostly gotten over it, mostly. But for a long time I really disliked any character she played. And I still kind of get an unconscious reaction to her at first when I see her in something.

If someone has an annoying voice, but more specifically annoying habits in the way they speak (that fucking weird fake laugh thing Jimmy Carr does for example), it doesn't really matter what they're saying. They could be reporting serious news or talking about human rights and I will still want them to shut the hell up.

Felicia Day. I know it's in no way fair of me, but my gut reaction to seeing her on... basically anything is intense annoyance. It already put the final nail into the coffin of the new MST3K for me, which was already on shaky ground as it was. :/ Something about her just comes off as so completely fake that it raises my hackles.

Peter Jackson. Who has done nothing wrong. But the ROTK-praise train got a bit too much for me back in 2004 to the point where I hated the thing I had once loved. I'm sure he's a good person.

I find Olivia Munn really annoying for no good reason. I don't think I've even seen anything she was in (except maybe as a very minor character) or even seen any interviews with her. I feel like I somehow got the impression that she's not very nice, but I have no idea where that came from and it could be totally inaccurate.

Tobey Maguire, especially as Peter Parker. I just hate his face. I'm not wild about his acting either, but it's his stupid, doleful, piggy face that I can't stand. I know that's mean as hell. But this is the irrational dislikes thread, so.

Shia Lebeouf. I feel like I've hated him in almost every movie I've seen him in. Sometimes, because the films were crappy, but also there's something about him that just GRATES.

Also, Julia Roberts. Same.

Hilarie Burton. She may be a perfectly lovely person, I have no idea, but I've disliked every character I've seen her play and always get the urge to turn the TV off whenever I see her pop up in anything.

Most pop music, at least the repetitive 'catchy' type music. I barely even liked music much at all when I was a kid. Whenever I hear a song that repeats the same lyrics over and over it'll get stuck in my head to the point I'll get a severe headache. I have no idea why, but it's very annoying.

Drew Barrymore. I think it's that she reminds me of things I dislike in myself. It came on fairly gradually. I can still enjoy her in earlier stuff like ET and Firestarter. And there are a few movies that I'm weirdly okay with like Scream (though there might be an explanation for that one), Music & Lyrics, and The Wedding Singer. But there were a couple of movies that I liked at the time, but now think I wouldn't be able to watch without cringing like Ever After and Never Been Kissed. And now, if she has a large role in something, it's pretty much a no-go.

Has anyone read the Mistborn books by Sanderson? I've got both the ebooks and the audiobooks and am considering giving the series a try. Feel like starting some new fantasy while I'm stuck in bed. But I want to know if it is any good. The summary sounds interesting.
