106 - Agreed. Don't get me wrong, his old stuff isn't as bad, but it seems as though these days he just shoves his personal opinions (political especially) into every comic he's writing! And Siryn...oh woe is the old days when she was actually allowed to kick ass. She's 1000x the leader Jamie is.

140. I've been in quite a few fandoms in my time, and I still think that, overall, the LoM fandom has the highest general standard for fic. There are some excellent writers there.
I don't think people expect you to read and comment on every fic, but I get that, as a writer, it is desired that people leave a review if they've read and enjoyed what you've written. A lot of people work hard on their fics, and the only thing they get back for that is reviews. A short "I liked it" isn't too much to ask for, I think.

I must have missed the time a person was attacked for not liking a fic. What actually happened? I'd like to know.

There are some excellent writers there, I agree. Perhaps it is just a matter of personal preference for the type and style of fic.

I understand wanting to know when people have read a fic of yours, but when I write, I am writing mostly for myself, and posting it out of a desire to improve. I have since realized after creating this secret that people write fic for different reasons, so my frustration may be unfounded.

It was quite a while ago. It was not a post on someone's story, nor an attack on a specific person, but a general statement that at one point she or he had not liked the fic for a time, and that one of the fic writers had kept her/him in the fandom, prompting several butthurt writers to jump in, and if I may say so, they took the comment and ran with it. All was well for the writers in the end, but I have never seen that person around since.

It was what I was waiting for since the start of the series.
I started watching House M.D. because of these two characters; and knowing that House wanted to inform Cuddy that he was there for her, in a different way, made me the happiest person alive.
They're the only OTP that actually match each other. I don't care what anybody says.
They're a challange for each other, and fuck, they love it.
The best kiss that I've ever seen; that was it.
