*I* don't want a black Doctor because of the inevitable crowing and wank from the PC brigade who'll be demanding particular kinds of stories and trumpeting about how it's "about time". I sometimes think these people aren't interested in how good the actor will actually be, or what the new stories will be like, etc, but just want to "score points". But I do think Paterson Joseph is a lovely bloke and superb actor. :-)

155. Okay, how do I put this tactfully... Their relationship is the most poorly constructed relationship I've ever seen on television. The revelation in "The Box" came out of nowhere because there was absolutely no suggestion all season that they were still in a relationship. They *barely* had any scenes together. Moreover, their relationship has never come across as... well... healthy or adult or one with good communication. Have you ever thought they might be better off with someone else? I mean, you can break a couple up without bashing one of them.

Besides, the beauty of fanfic is that it's all about the hypotheticals. What if Danny and Lindsay had never become involved and were just good friends instead? Hell, in fiction-land, you could be her friend too, if you like her so much. (I used to like her, but I have increasing problems with the way she's been characterized.) Regardless, I can say a lot of that because I've come to respect people's desire to write self-insert fic (though I don't really understand it).

The important thing about fandom is that it makes you happy.

Episode 10 even had that almost!coming-out scene, and the flower thing in Poisoned Chalice, wah!

I hated the game so much. It really let me down because of the three previous games - they were so fantastic.

But I loved the last case. I loved the last case because I understood why Phoenix seemed so ooc. He wasn't. He'd changed. Like any good character he'd taken his life experiences and become something else. Not different, just changed.

I love the last case. I tell people to play it just to get to the last case.

I'm 20 going on 21, and I'm learning how to drive this summer. I'm still probably not going to drive too much, but I live in a city with minimal public transportation (and if I stay with my current significant other, I WILL need to drive to go to places DX). The anxiety has put me off driving, but I've been told it gets easier as you do it more. Still, don't feel like you HAVE to drive unless you actually DO have to drive. :)

Secondly, British English is technically more correct than American English, to begin with; I've had many a debate with my professors over this, but they know that the Queen's English is proper. At any rate, what's so wrong about using a different spelling and grammar syntax? There are already variations in regional American English, so I don't see the problem.
