I feel the exact same way about the Narnia books and even though I bought it when I was maybe 12 or 13, I have yet to read The Last Battle.

The fact I'm RPing Tumnus and so will have to go through at some point is I think what's going to get me to finally read it.

124 - I agree with this secret.
Though, in actuality, I've never even seen that film version all the way through. I cannot stand the Disney-fication of brilliant old stories to make them G-rated selling points. I have a feeling Tim Burton's new adaptation will be the only version that will appeal to me.

144 - There are no words for how much I despise the term 'sell-out' >_<
I mean, I'd be happy with only a 4th series but come on, like Noel said - isn't that going to get boring? They've already done 20 episodes.
What about all of the people who complained about series 3? If they keep doing the same thing over and over, people are going to get tired of it. So, they're expanding the franchise. If that makes them 'sell-outs' in your eyes, then I'm sad for you.

The only thing I wish was different is that they'd not have acquired all of those rude, screaming, moronic Noel fangirls but otherwise, The Boosh are still golden in my eyes.

I'm glad that they're expanding it, but I think it's getting to be a bit much. I mean, a festival, a book, a movie, a record label and CD, figurines, etc.? Really?

135. Who ARE you? EVERYONE I KNOW LOVES THAT, and it's probably the only thing that ever really squicked me out in this fandom. Smoking? I don't care. Jared's complete dorkiness? Whatever. Leg guitar? LOL. I'd go all anonymous, but...eh. Thank you, OP. I was positive I was completely alone on that one. I wasn't even all that bothered UNTIL I noticed that he CHANGED. CHORDS. ON. HIS. CALF. That still makes me fucking crack up. It doesn't make me like him less, it just bugged me out. That entire thing bothered me, but at least they're having fun on set, and getting to hear Jared crack the hell up was worth it (along with that genuine smile out of Jensen when he was done). As for the smoking - I bet half the people saying it's gross are really closet smokers. As an ex-smoker, I think it's gross, but I don't care if he does it, since I think he looks hot doing it (which is very stupid, to be sure, but there you go). He's hotter smoking and being a "bad boy" *snort* than doing leg guitar, and I'm not Danneel, stuck having to lick an ashtray, so why get bugged by it?

124) Well, to be truthful, it's one of Disney's better movies. Yeah it only barely resembles the book, and even the book isn't very meaningful unless you know the history and context. But honestly, does that matter? Taken by itself, there is no shame in loving this movie. It stands on its own.

It's not about looks. It's the emotional attechment they'd feel for each other based on the fact that they're practically cut off from other people and have only each other to clining to.

It's not like two people fall in love because "you're gorgeous and good looking". It's a fucked up, wrong, and sad relationship because they believe the only person that truly understand is each other.

Yeah, I hear you. My best friend used to make fun of me for playing it, and then after we went to college and I quit, she started because it's all her boyfriend does. Now all she does is play WoW, and when I try and talk to her she just repeats the same few words or doesn't respond at all because she's playing a game. Although I don't really think it's the game's fault, because there are a lot of people out there who play it and don't get sucked in/remain social. It depends on the person more.

149 - I actually really liked Anna and thought that her storyline played out quite well. I don't think she should come back, but that is because I feel they gave her the right kind of closure. I'm not sure if regaining her grace destroyed her or if she was simply sent back to Heaven, but either way, it was important and I admire her for being strong enough to return to the imprisonment she fought so hard to escape from because she knew it would help others in the end.

151 - For some reason, Bettie is always the first name to come into my mind when thinking about his past wives. XD I also like how it contines the "ie" ending!

156 - LOOOL Omg, the comparison hadn't crossed my mind before, but now... XDD

not!secret - Holy crap, I am so glad I'm not alone. XD But honestly, the complete and utter faith Schumann had in Brahms? Brahms's own infatuation with Clara? They were all practically housemates for a while.
