115: Certain old!Who fans are far more maddening than the newer fans. Nothing wrong with being sad about it. I'm still sad about Christopher Eccleston, and even though I kinda hated last season's finale, I know I'll be sad about DT too.

130: There's a strange sorrow in being a fan of both of them, honestly. You can appreciate their awesomeness, and yet know that if they were Rudy and Castiella (Castiette? I don't know), fandom would treat them both very differently.

If you don’t want a black Doctor because you hate black people, or you think black people can’t be British, then fuck you because you’re a racist. If you don’t want him to be black just because it throws the ‘tradition’ of him being white out of whack, then you’re just old fashioned.

Hey, I never said I liked it. I enjoyed it when I saw it, which was, I suspect, mostly because I haven't seen the older version.
