107. THERE IS SOMEONE ELSE IN THE WORLD WHO DOES THIS. *GLEE* I was so, so disappointed when Virgil left the story. The Inferno is one of my favourite books because of the interactions between those two. I don't even NECESSARILY ship them romantically -- they just have such spectacularly funny and touching chemistry between them. I read it for the first time when I was 17, and the thing that really struck me was just how much alike they are, as friends, to people today. Their clothes may be weird and their words may be different and culture and social status and all that are unusual these days... but as friends, they're timeless. The way they screw around and their physical closeness and emotional intimacy is just... familiar. It's fascinating just to see how timeless humans are in that respect.

118. GB 2 is definitely not canon in my eyes. For many, many reasons. I consider the first few seasons of the animated series to be the true continuation and there were a few Egon/Janine moments in there that made it all the better.

128. I’m going through the same thing. The first two seasons were great. The third was hit and miss. And this one has been atrocious. It just feels off, like it’s a completely different show. If I even start watching again after the hiatus, I’m almost certain I’ll wind up dropping out before the season’s over like I did with Buffy’s season 7. That had the same ‘is this the same show I used to love wtf happened to it’ vibe as spn does now. Didn’t like the potential slayers, don’t like the angels.

130. Cheer up. As someone who both likes Ruby and hates Castiel, I’m sure I’m much more unpopular. And um…people are oppressed for liking Castiel? Last time I checked, the entire fandom thought he was the most amazing thing that ever existed and spn should totally be the Dean and Castiel show. Which at this point it kind of is, anyway.
