113. Word to the first part of your secret. Almost all of the good PotC fanfics are on sites other than fanfiction.net, same with Buffy. But if it's porn you're looking for, you might want to try adultfanfiction.net.

120. "Hellfire" is definitely the darkest song ever made in an animated Disney film. The Hunchbak of Notre Dame is dark in general. I'm still surprised that they were allowed to make a film like that next to Hercules.

Well, personally I'm finding it pretty hilarious that you were able to 'make it through' the Zutara vs. Kataang ship wars and the generic complaints about the movie very likely sucking ass, but when the issues Avatar fandom is getting het up about leave the realm of the fictional and the frivolous suddenly that's when you get so bothered by it you have to make a FS post about it. Sure you're just fed up, sure this is the last straw. Sure it isn't that this is somehow hitting close to home for you in a way the other complaining and wanking didn't.

If you're making a movie that's derived from source material, you fucking pay attention to the source material. If I go see a movie about Revolutionary Girl Utena, I expect Anthy to be dark-skinned and exotic depite her being in the middle of Jappoland. If I go see a movie about Ultimates Nick Fury I expect him to be Sam motherfucking Jackson. (Even Halle Berry, in her merry jaunt of ruining Ororo Munroe, attempted to give her a Kenyan accent in the first X-Men movie. Why? Because 'Ro was AFRICAN and her mother from Kenya. Granted, she butchered the thing and dropped it for all 12 of her lines in the sequel, but at least she TRIED.) AND IF I GO SEE A MOVIE ABOUT AVATAR I EXPECT GODDAMN SOKKA AND KATARA TO BE A BROWN LITTLE GIRL AND BOY. Why? Because that's what they ARE. That's how, for however many seasons and episodes, they were portrayed. I also expect them to have big googly eyes and outrageous expressions too, goddamn it.

Too Big 2 - Oh yes. I understand what Kojima was trying to accomplish here, as a creator and storyteller. I understand it, respect it, heck, admire it a lot. Doesn't make it any less painful. I was so disappointed when I played her storyline. Why does Onion Knight have to protect her? Okay, I can't stand that kid, but anyway...

While I think Dissidia is a fun game, I like to ignore most of the story for most of the time. Way too generic. But since I have Butz I can enjoy it nevertheless... *goes to beat Cloud up some more* XD

I know... if they're going to make a cash cow game, they should at least make a little more effort to ensure that it's not blatant and resorting to cheap stereotypes. (They made Cloud into a cardboard emo-kid again, from what I understand, and I doubt many others fared better.)

They should have had Luneth anyway, and if anyone's protective it should have been Terra, of him... which could have led to some fun dynamics becuse I doubt Luneth would be thrilled with anyone being protective of him.

129. Fucking agreed. I watched the anime and read as much of the manga as I could stomach, but the fact is, I just can't stand the manga! I gave it a chance. I gave it a LOT of chances, but it just didn't move me. FMA is one of the best anime series I've ever seen, but the manga just feels so empty and lacks the ability to make me feel anything other than apathy and desire to rewatch the anime. I basically left the FMA fandom entirely because I was sick of being treated like shit by the manga purists. Thank you so much for posting this, it really encapsulates my own reasons for disliking the manga.
