128. XD I gotta admit, I kinda agree with you. If it offends them so much, then they ought to not go see the movie. Not only will it preserve their personal experience of hte original work, but if enough of the fandom does that, the movie'll tank and the producers will REALLY know that they fucked up.

The thing of it is though if the movie just plain flops, that doesn't mean they are going to attribute it to the whitewashing, so by writing letters and not seeing the movie that will at least make it clear why.

Also it is an effort to raise awareness about it because if you don't raise awareness this will never change whether the movie ends up tanking or not.

126. I wouldn't mind the God complex if the writers would should how much of a coward and failure he was during the Time Wars. You know, an actual backstory as they have only hinted in the past four seasons. Having been a failure and probably causing the end of his people, I can see him wanting to save as many as he can.

But, alas, I doubt we are going to see this.

104. SERIOUSLY. I can't speak for any of the other books, but I genuinely enjoyed the first one when I read it a few years ago. I mean, it's not the best piece of literature, but it wasn't that bad, either, in my opinion.

145. It may be, or it may not be. For me...I think it was. I don't really care so much for either anymore. There's still one manga I keep up with on an irregular basis but, despite seven or eight YEARS of being obsessed with it....I just don't care so much anymore. But even if you don't just "get over it" (not that you have to, just if it doesn't happen) then maybe instead you'll at least make sense of it all for yourself?

It's not like it's something you should have to defend or explain. If you like it, then that's great. It's not as if you're hurting anybody by enjoying anime or cartoons and comics. :) I say just do what makes you happy and if one day it's not anime/manga anymore, then that's okay.

Fuck you. I'm pissed at the crap choices and I and countless others are in protest. It is the sad state of Hollywood and it needs to change. Get used to it or GTFO because we protesters are here to stay until we either get a new cast or the movie tanks.

This is a legit battle that the Avatar fandom is getting in that ten times bigger than some stupid shipping war (which should really be over now, especially since many of my fellow shippers have moved on as over FIVE MONTHS have passed since the end of the series, but still get attacked for their shipping preferences).
