I like to think that I'm an equal-opportunity shipper when it comes to most fandoms, but there are a few pairings that I am a diehard "THEY BELONG WITH EACHOTHER AND NOBODY ELSE".

I don't think there's anything wrong with it.

135. I'm... pretty sure you shouldn't. I mean, at least not just for that sole reason. I'm an avid House/Wilson shipper, but a large portion of the fanbase for the pairing makes me so embarrassed. There's just so much senseless Cuddy/Cameron/Thirteen/(insert-random-female-character-from-House M.D here) bashing as well as het pairing bashing (which I always find funny because I am also quite a fan of House/Cuddy, as well as Wilson/Cuddy) that I just really don't even bother with being active in any LJ communities or even that whole part of the fandom. I really keep all my opinions and fangirling to my own journal and personal friends that are also a fan of that ship. There's just as much drama and wank on the slash side of the House fandom as there is the het pairing side of the fandom. I think you should just enjoy whatever pairings and relationships you like and just ignore all the bashing as much as you can. I mean, if you liked the pairing that much, you wouldn't let a few silly and sometimes overblown opinions from people who don't ship it get to you.

I'm from one of the countries from ex-Yugoslavia, and while I'm not even into Hetalia, it just makes me furious that we're not there. I realise there's no space for all the countries in the world, but dammit, we played a role. And not an irrelevant one either.

I could understand if you were upset if Hetalia were a finished product, but it's still not over yet. =\ The author tends to jump around to different time periods (not just WWII), and new characters are being added often. I mean, there are what, 30-something countries represented in the comic, out of how many countries in the world?

It's also kind of silly to be "furious" over a comic that you don't even read, but I digress.

What you have to understand is that there are already a shitload of characters designed {Denmark, Noway, Belgium, amongst others} who haven't been used yet. But. If Romania turns up and is /not/ a vampire of some sort, I will eat my {nonexistent} hat. It would be a tragedy if he wasn't x3

My 'other' country hasn't turned up yet- not many people have even heard of Malta, despite its importance in WW2 {seriously important position in the Mediterranean? I think so.}, and those who have, think of it as 'oh, I went on holiday thar' >.> There's no doubt in my mind that a bunch of other countries {I'm looking at Australia here in particular xD} will crawl out the woodwork as the series progresses, one must be patient.

That, and I'm slightly fed up of people wondering where small, non-european countries are. As far as I'm aware, Kenya and Mali weren't involved in WW2. Stop asking for them >.>

I'm an Australian of Romanian descent, I'm doubly ignored XD (Come on! Last I checked, Australia and Romania were in the bloody war!)

And... yeah. I'm not a Hetalia fan, but the comic IS about WW2, right? I'm pretty sure a lot of African countries weren't, y'know, involved. (Northern parts of Africa, sure. My grandfather was stationed there at one point.)

164. same here! I have many slash pairing that I would kill to see them become canon, but honestly? I prefer most of my my OTPs to remain subtext/heavily implied because UST is one of those things that, well... once it's resolved, it's not UST any more!

I think I've always been drawn more to subtexty UST than to an actual canon gay relationship, just because I find those kind of dynamics are WAY more fun to explore.

123. What I have learned from watching the Harry Potter movies (and being a HUGE fan of the books), is that you always have to keep the series and books seperate. They only have a certain budget and a certain time span. They can't squeeze EVERYTHING into the show. I haven't read those books though, and I'm biased cause I'm a Tapert/Raimi fan.
