144) It will always suck (shitty art, shitty story, shitty humor, manages to make history boring and most fans only in it for the godawful pseudo-moe and yaoi), but it's ok to like stuff that sucks, you know? Or Twilight wouldn't be such a big thing. :) I do hate Hetalia (haven't made any secrets though...) but you shouldn't feel bad about liking something just because most people consider it to be shit.

180) Did they ever give a reason for changing all the kids to white in the live action? I can't even understand the logic, if white kids are willing to watch kids of color on the TV, why not in a movie? It's one thing I really don't understand.

180. That's what I've been unable to understand as well. It only follows that not caring if the kids are ethnic on televisions means they wouldn't care if the kids were ethnic in movies. I personally see it as yet another of Hollywood's whitewashing which is why I'm fighting against it at AAW.

I actually have heard from some people in the GLBTA community that a lot of gay couples actually do prefer one position over the other, so a lot of couples do have a set "top" and "bottom" when in bed. I don't know how valid this is, though, and before I heard that, I originally thought that most couples alternated as well. (I could be completely wrong either way. I have no idea.)

I don't like, though, how fan-art and fiction depicts couples as having a top and bottom in personality (unless it's a master/slave or non-consensual relationship or something). Like, you'll have a big, strong manly man who is the "seme" (I hate that term), and a little blushing weepy effeminate thing as the "uke". That is unrealistic. (In most cases.) My favorite pairings usually don't have a set top and bottom in personality (i.e. They're more "realistic"), so it's fun to figure out who would top in bed and such. Usually I can't decide, though, and just have them alternate.

Perhaps I'm naive but yes, I think you should say why it's a secret. I have an OTP that I just can't stand seeing them with any other character. I say this quite loudly and proudly. I don't bash other writers who do write them with other characters, nor do I insult the intelligence of readers who like to read it. I just refuse to write it and read it myself.

It's my prerogative whether to write them or not and it's my choice if I read them or not. I'm willing to stand behind my enjoyment of a fandom as MY choice and will not be dictated by anyone else.
