ME TOO ME TOO ME TOO!

Morgana and Gwen have more subtext in their little fingers than Arthur and Merlin do in ALL of their scenes put together. The girls ADORE each other - and it's so straight forward and unconditional and unselfish. Morgana got herself locked in a dungeon for Gwen! Gwen brought her FLOWERS! *sigh* I could fangirl over them ALL DAY.

My major fear for the series is that the writers will stop giving their relationship screen time altogether in favour of developing their respective relationships with the MEN on the cast. Which will SO piss me off because we're never going to see Arthur and Merlin's relationship dialled down so they can spend more time with the women, are we?!

I know these particular Internet memes, but I know it's annoying when you don't get memes that everyone else does. I tend to come in late on things.

101: Oh for fuck's sake. It's just the Joker. You know what? Most people don't think "clearly disturbed" when they see someone with a Joker t-shirt. They think: "hey cool, Joker t-shirt". Because most people have nostalgic CHILDHOOD memories associated with the character from the 60s show, the animated series, the comics, etc. etc. He's like 60 years old, everyone knows who he is and NO ONE will think you're a fan of serial killers for liking him. They won't even make that connection!! When a character has that much history, there is no one association for them and most have nothing to do with their source material any more.
