117 - Goddamnit, I went and read this secret and spoilered myself D: I'm on episode 6 of the 2nd season, I had no idea he's going to kill her and it came as a big surprise. I think I'm kind of... disappointed. Doesnt he NEED her? I'm very curious as to way he's going to kill the only person in the world who GETS him. Myeaaah, I'm concerned about Dex. I want a happy ending for him xD

It was a reoccurring theme again this year with Prado. He mentions that the only people who know the ~real him are those that die quickly after. He only pulls down the mask when he's in the midst of his ritual.

She knew he was the killer. She loved him in spite of/because of it, but she was unhinged and killed innocent people. So, he follows her to Paris after she thinks she's gotten away, shows her a picture of the person she killed (who was innocent). He then broke his ritual a bit by giving her a more intense dose of his horse tranq so she wouldn't feel the pain as much, and killed her.

He did what was necessary in his psychosis - to be a vigilante of sorts - but did it a humane way as opposed to the painful dismemberment that he must normally go through. He abandoned his ritual because he did in a strange way, care about her and pitied her because she was one of the few who looked behind his facade and still loved him.

144. I haven't read this book (but I think I might now!) but I think it's wonderful that you came to that realization and changed how you treat other species. I've been a vegetarian since birth, and the more I live and the more I see the more I feel horrified by how humanity treats other species (see the documentary "Earthlings") and each other, and I'm working as hard as I can to make people realize that everything living deserves love and respect. It makes me smile and cheer to myself every time someone comes to the same conclusion, regardless of how they come to it. Go you! The burden is hard and it can be a constant battle to keep down despair and feeling overwhelmed by negativity, but know that you're a kinder and better person because you DO care. Don't give up, and don't lose the knowledge you have, even when it's difficult. We can change something. Even saving a tiny life is still saving a LIFE.

I hope this is at least a start. I had to do this for a black friend once and it comes out really cool when you find a person who is willing to search for those character and do an accurate cosplay. Even if you're correct and a large portion of the asexuals you come across are people who are confused and questioning about their sexuality, or are just going through a phase, or are reacting to traumatic events, or are just trying on the label to see if it fits... Even if a lot of them don't still identify as asexual 10, 20, 40 years from now, that doesn't mean that the idea of asexuality and the asexual community don't have value for them right now.

I put myself through a considerable amount of what-the-hell-is-wrong-with-me anxiety as a teen before I stumbled across asexuality groups online and found people who shared the same sorts of experiences, and they helped me to get over that and accept myself the way I am. They were there when I needed them most, and that will still be true whether I meet Mr or Mrs Right next Tuesday and spontaneously sprout a libido or if I live to a ripe old age of 106 without ever feeling any sexual attraction.

Regardless of what you say or do, people will sort out on their own which identities work for them or not, and unless you were wanting to date them or something, it's not going have any impact on you whether they're wrong or right. You should stop letting yourself get this irritated over other people's choice of how to label themselves.

Not necessarily. Slash fic can have plots too that tell the person what they need to do about the universe for the story. I've read fic where I didn't know the canon and I suppose I could even start to like a certain pairing (slash or otherwise) from that. You don't have to care about the canon to follow fic.
