Completely agreed. I cannot bring an ounce of respect for any drug user, and seeing these comments that defend it sicken me, literally. I also find pot humour horrible and abhor any movie that creates the illusion that using drugs is in any way cool or funny.
It is not. It is weak, self-destructive and shameful.

And this is the one single thing in my life I am not budging from, and where I will look down on people for disagreeing with me. I don't even know why I am so adamant about it. Everything else, I am normally more lenient.

Repeating what

I'm also kind of rofling that everyone assumes people who oppose pot obviously endorse drinking. I do not like either. I think people can relax or have a fun time without using controlling substances such as this. It makes me uncomfortable to lose control over what I'm doing. I've heard too many stories, have had stoner friends, and it's just not something I'm into. Same goes for those friends who drink every weekend. There's better things.

Bale had an unfortunate, but understandable blow-up at a stage hand who was doing something they REALLY shouldn't have been. If he wasn't a professional, the DP's actions wouldn't have mattered so much. I hate seeing people who know NOTHING about the film industry assume that because Bale flipped out at someone fucking about when they shouldn't have been, he's a complete douchebag prima donna who blows up for no reason. He had a reason. He took it a bit too far, but he's not a monster, he's a dedicated actor who lost his focus at the wrong moment.

Nobody says that he's a monster. They just state a fact: he acted like a total douche.

Okay, so just to get this out there, because I'm feeling defensive. I smoke pot to manage my chronic pain disorder. It helps me do things, not keeps me from that. So not all people who smoke pot are idiots, okay? Some of us are just trying not to hurt.

See, personally I think that's fine. If you're using something for a legitimate medical purpose? That's fine.

You're not making a choice to use a brain-altering substance just to get a quick high, and that's the part of drug use I have a problem with.

Why doesn't anyone OT3 them? Well, I don't because Steel has the sex appeal of a 2x4 (on purpose) and I don't think Silver's good enough for Sapphire. Of course, I think that I'm the only one good enough for Sapphire, so your mileage may vary.
