What's wrong with Paul Blart? My husband and I went to see it because we like Kevin James, and we both thought the movie was funny and cute. Are you embarrassed that you saw it? 151. People are killed every day because of it.

Think about policemen who are simply doing their job, who get shot by drug dealers. Or innocent bystanders who happen to be nearby a deal gone wrong. Or stoners who do stupid shit when they're high, and end up dead because of it.

Then there are the health issues. Whenever you inhale something shit stays in your lungs. It increases your heart rate and blood pressure. Short term memory loss and lowered learning abilities. Then of course there is the addiction.

So yeah, I think that people who choose to take these risks are stupid. I don't try and hide that fact. I also believe that other drugs are just as bad.

If marijuana was legal there'd be no drug dealers. Fewer people would be incarcerated, fewer police officers would be in danger (or employed), etc. It's the fact that it's illegal, not the fact that it exists and people use it, that causes those problems.

And I'd like to see some documentation of the stupid things people have supposedly done while high (combination of marijuana and other drugs don't count). Also, marijuana has been proven to not be chemically addictive (it's addictive the way fast food is addictive).

You are right about the tar in your lungs, but cigarettes, which are legal and aren't sold by drug dealers, also do that.

Fandom is so much more enjoyable after I've smoked weed.

Also, way to make assumptions. Pot does about as much harm as a few drinks, and if you abuse anything, it can cause problems. Stop judging people because they get high - not every single person who uses are idiots, lazy, etc. I know capable, successful people who smoke throughout the day, versus occasional use.

I don't know, you just come off as a bitter fifteen year old. You go enjoy yourself some more Reefer Madness.

I was just packing a bowl when I got to this secret. I LOLed epically.

That said, I can understand being annoyed by some douchebag constantly telling wacky pot stories, like the time he crashed his car into his garage or something, but I'll jump on the bandwagon and say that seems like a very harsh judgment. It's not as bad as some might think. Weed doesn't contain any of the nasty shit found in meth or heroin or even cigarettes; it's a natural smoke. To quote Katt Williams, "It's a plant, it just grows like that. And if you just happen to set it on fire, there are some effects."

But now you must think less of me, so what does my opinion matter? :D time for some reefer madness

I figure people who are eager to condemn Bale about this incident are a bunch of lazy incompetant slackers who get yelled at all the time by their parents, bosses, and coworkers, and have decided it's because people who yell are all mean and crazy.

Also: charges were dropped about the "assault" incident, and the official police position is that Bale's mother and sister were trying to extort money from him.

124. OMG I LOVE YOU. Everyone loves on Freaks & Geeks but Undeclared was my favorite. It definitely has special meaning to me. And I can't believe it was canceled after 1 season, I thought it was excellent! (but, that's the Apatow curse, i suppose.)

145. Definitely my favorite book I had to read in high school, and not just for the Gene/Finny implications. I cried for Finny but more for Gene, for his disillusionment and confusion about his identity and everyone else's, and how they all lost a bit of innocence. I'd suggest reading Peace Breaks Out, which is the sequel: not nearly as good, but still a must-read if you liked this.
