115: Seconded. Also, I wish I had a TARDIS, or any other time machine, for exactly that reason. I want to go back in time and tell him how monumentally important his work has been, and what an inspiration he's been to me and other scientists. And then I'd take him on a tour of all the cool things that have been discovered in biology, all the proofs of his theory that have been uncovered. I think he'd get a kick out of it :).

137. It pisses me off when people say that this or that thing makes them a "bad feminist." I'm not a huge fan of "feminism" in general, but dude... I thought feminism meant having open options and being able to CHOOSE to take on steriotypically male roles in society or to abandon steriotypically female ones... not being OBLIGATED to. IMHO, being a "bad feminist" means judging any female, regardless of their life choices. If you think being a steriotypical FEMALE makes you a bad feminist, you're not a feminist -- you're a mysogynist.

I disagree. That picture freaked me out too, (this from someone who didn't even flinch when i saw that secret showing a collage of violent pictures from movies/shows/comics. Other people who saw it know what I'm talking about), but seriously? 164. I'm in a non-livejournal community where they chat and bring up ship related stuff all the time. I don't agree with the vast majority of it, but I tend to just ignore it for the most part. People are going to ship what they want. It doesn't matter if the characters are supposed to be straight or gay or in love or not or whatever. The sooner you get used to this and just talk about the stuff YOU want to talk about, rather than worry about what other people are doing the happier you'll be. :/
