130. I don't understand drabble hate and personally I think people who avidly hate it are just stupid. It takes a clever person to make something out of 100 words.

132. Lol. A lot of my friends say David Bowie's ONLY good music was in Labyrinth. I was almost inclined to agree, but then Velvet Goldmine and Life on Mars ate my brain. Along with a few others anyway.

142. Admittedly I might have done the same x.x

137) Waitwaitwaitwait--you think liking some cheesy Disney line means you are bad at supporting human rights for women? Kill yourself. There are a lot of people with far more embarrassing hobbies but they don't let that get in the way of human rights. SORRY. I like Ariel and I've worked for women and transgender rights for over 10 years, you have no one to blame but yourself.

And you realize if this person only saw them in roleplays, they may have only seen icons of their hair/face?

105. LOL.

113. I know! I feel the same. I pass it off on the fact that he certainly doesn't act 12....and eyepatches are always sexy.

117. He is very gorgeous.

142. I generally think little of sororities, but I'd be willing to join yours.

153. I'd take all of them, save Jun...and that's only b/c I'm really straight.

155. I'm more fond of Morgan/Garcia, but any of your pairings are awesome too.

169. He looks awesome.

153 OP

(Anonymous) 2009-02-22 06:24 am (UTC)(link)
I'm mostly straight (I think... my sexuality is becoming less defined as time goes by), but I would still gladly let Jun dominate me. She's just way too hot...

[identity profile] paperclipchains.livejournal.com 2009-02-21 10:18 pm (UTC)(link)
129. Can you people just fucking sit down and let us do what we want to do? If you don't like it, don't read it, it is NOT a big deal. Sorry we can't all fucking switch off and enjoy something when it's saying things about people that are antithetical to our views.

154. You sound like an unpleasant person.

169. What are you, 14? Yes, you should use your brain for decisions. Have a little more faith in yourself, geez.

SuperJail is about new inventive ways of creatively kill people. That is the point of the show, it's animation for the sake of animation with no gags or even an script, only animators having fun.

It works because it's not plain violence; it's fun, over-the-top, unexpected and totally surprising violence.

104) Except that Holmes actually WAS an egotistical drug addict in the original stories. "For me, there is still the cocaine-bottle," anybody?

Re: 106

(Anonymous) 2009-02-22 08:19 am (UTC)(link)
The Yahtzee line came from this interview (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e4obiNEFtvU), and somebody did it up all Zero Punctuation style...but I grabbed a blank ZP frame to make the secret. The line that was used in the interview was "I didn't jump (to conclusions); I took a small step and there conclusions were."

And despite the guy who said that line would sound out of character coming from anybody else, I could totally hear it in just about everybody else's voice, and it sounded perfectly in character.

109. aww hamburgers, a Butters secret!

117. The ones you listed do not even compare, seriously.

125. He's also had a pretty tough time of finding out what exactly was for him and at times they still mention that he's got all these side projects, so you may be more on target than you know. The question really is, how many hats are in the room? :P

126. Is that two A Separate Peace secrets in so many weeks? That makes me giddy.

136. DUDE. In my early years of fandom I did this ALL THE TIME. I edited people's fics both for spelling and grammar and also to format them to publishable sizes (trade hardcover, trade paperback, etc.) I seriously wanted to make a publishing company for my fandom's fanfiction. 12 years later and I still want to do this. You should ask your favorite writers (or just put it out there) if they need a beta for their stories, that way you get to read and correct it before it even gets out to the public!

162. So, anyone interested in Japanese culture is a weeaboo? You're an idiot.

154. It's perfectly okay if you're a straight guy who likes yaoi! I'm a (mostly) straight girl who LOVES yuri.

106 What is that quote from?

110 This is me, but about BSG.

117 God, I totally agree. When he died I was in high school I think and I cried and cried and my friends were like, ? But I grew up on his movies; when I was nine I wanted to be Hildy in His Girl Friday.

127 HA

129 The fastest way to insanity on the internet is to wish that people weren't doing what they're doing. You can't do anything about it, so just avoid it, instead of being all !!!STOP EEEET!!!

135 I feel that will turn out very well for you.

153 NICE

154 I know guys like that. I think it's more about fangirls being annoying about wanting a little gay boy of their own than anything else. Also? Most straight guys won't admit to liking such things for exactly the reasons you cite. Keep on keeping on, anon!

162 My god you're a snob. I was born and raised in Maine, lived there to the age of 18, when I went to college, and I go home most summers. Does that qualify me as a "Mainer" in your eyes? Because Maine is a pretty fucking insular place—if you've had a summer home there for generations, like the Bush family, you're still a "summer person"—but you know, I don't make fun of vacationers/summer people on the internet. (Icon very much related, btw.)

102. You mean, instead of using a wig? Shit, I use my real hair for half my cosplays. It's the right length and colour, why should I cover it over with a wig that's identical to my real hair?

104. Oh, man, are you kidding? I'm excited as hell. From what I've heard, they're going to incorporate a lot of the Holmes trivia that most people don't know - for example, the part where he's a champion boxer. (Though uhhh. Holmes actually is a drug addict. Opium, y'know. ...Also, he's pretty egotistical. XD)

112. I'm so sorry, anon. )8

115. HAHAHA THAT WOULD BE SO AWESOME!

120. idk that I'd agree with the "still be up for it" part but yeah, I can definitely see where you're getting that from.

129. That is possibly one of the funniest pictures I've ever seen oh god. (I don't suppose you have the original image, OP?)

127. ME TOO D8 Where was all the merchandise when I was a little kid?!

140. Ooh Repo author... *goes to investigate*

143. AAAHHHHHHH MEGAS XLR.

153. JUN IS HOT. Oh man.

Re: 137

[identity profile] shiplizard.livejournal.com 2009-02-21 10:29 pm (UTC)(link)
There's this perception that feminine means being very masculine or at least androgynous all the time. It took me a while to come around to thinking that feminism means that you CAN be extremely female however you like, you just expect to still be treated as a competent human.
