145. Ugh, I'm so with you on hating the mushed ship names. They're so stupid and pointless (seriously, it takes half a second longer to type "Sawyer/Kate" instead of "Skate"), not to mention confusing as hell for people who are new to fandoms. I don't go quite so far as to boycott fics featuring them, but I do always grumble a little internally whenever I see them.

n!s2) I wonder if you're a little unaware of what goes on in most junior and senior highschools, OP. A lot of kids pick up the habit around that age, and it's not necessarily a sexual thing either. For Akira, I always got the image that she probably had to grow up too fast without actually maturing.
