So, I am completely floored sometimes that others still watch Yu Yu Hakusho. It's good to be reminded. :)

And I agree. Many fictioners are really grasping at straws. Though, I will say that I highly enjoy many of RoseThorne's fictions. :)

From what I've seen, the fandom is still active, although most of the fanfiction is yaoi.

Rosethorne is one of the authors I'm complaining about in this secret. She's overrated and at best mediocre; I'm tired of people recommending her fanfiction to me.

I still wish they wouldn't have dyed his hair that awful color, though :p

He is not my favorite in the books OR the film, but his character feels more fleshed out in the film and there are some nice little character changes to him (nothing major, though; geez, 'changes' is not the operative word for this film *lol*) that make him more awesome :D
