114. I'm a Robin/Raven shipper, and for the longest time I HATED that ship too. I would spend hours debating against it and trying to prove its fans wrong. I even joined a forum that was built solely to debate Beast Boy/Raven against Rob/Raven. Then I became friends with various Gar/Raven shippers, and I respected the ship and began to like it. I still prefer Robin/Raven (Nightwing/Raven for the comics), but I deeply respect that ship now, even though I don't read the recent Teen Titans comics. I assume they're canon now and will be canon for a while.

Even so, I think that the people who complain about others buying the dolls don't have gigantic collections of anime or think it's cool. It seems like they just want to brag about being what society considers financially responsible? idk.

I liked Bela until she came down with a tragic mysterious backstory. I loved her as an amoral theif just in it to make as much money as she could off her knowledge of the arcane world and woe to all the broke-ass altruistic suckers out saving people and hunting things. She was fun, like a cross between Carmen Sandiego and Indiana Jones. Then she's suddenly got a mysterious past and either a heart of gold or a tragic tale of woe. Then she became a Mary-sue.

Jo they screwed over from the start by pushing the love interest angle rather than developing a character first and letting things evolve organically between her and whoever, if that was the way things went.

Ellen. The only thing they did wrong with Ellen is listening to the CW's demands for more hot chicks, and listening to the CW's opinion that Ellen wasn't 'hot' enough.

Anna was interesting until she turned out to be an angel. Now I want her off my screen and the hell away from Castiel. Unless she's the one subverting orders, in which case she can stay and go darkside.

Ruby as a character has potential. Genevieve Cortese is not the person to bring that potential to life, IMO.

114 - Raven and-- o_O; Beast Boy/Changeling/wtf name he has now? Whoa. I don't have anything against his character, but I guess since I watched more of the animation than I read the comics, I just can't see them together. Even if he's more angsty and serious in the comics, he still seems Raven's polar opposite. Or er, incompatible. (Forget all that "opposites attract" here, because with them, I can't see that actually applying.) Meh, my $0.02.

140 - Yeah, hate to agree, but some of those pairings wouldn't be immediately recognizable without the male half. That kind of sucks for the female characters/people who want to cosplay the females. But hey, there are some awesome FEMALE cosplayers out there who do a great job at crossplaying. What if you made excellent friends with one of them? No need to find a boyfriend who is ridiculously tall and into anime and willing to dress up for it (srsly, finding such a guy seems like it would take a looooong time, and why not have fun cosplaying while you search?), but there's no reason NOT to cosplay until you find him! Cosplay all you want with other people who want to be Ren/Syaoran/Hideki/etc.; they don't have to be your twu wuv like the characters are....
