Uh...the cartoon made me do it?

Seriously, though, it was kind of adorable in the show. And made more sense than it does in the comics. That it was pulled into comic!canon to pull in the frighteningly large number of toon!fans amuses me, but is kind of nonsensical. There's no blatant romantic interest!betrayal or inner demon issues to give them common ground, as is the fanon basis for the pairing in the show.

/is a closet TT geek, but at least she keeps the 'verses separate

Yeah, with the show I could just shrug my shoulders and go "well, fans are fans, it's just not for me." But now it's just irritating for it to have been made canon for not other reason than "the fangirls will eat it up!" I'm normally live and let live when it comes to fandom, but now it's become the first pairing I truly dislike.

Never wandered into the porn, but I knew about the technicalities of sex since kindergarten thanks to some precocious friends.

108: My favorite RP format, too. Even after what, seven years? I'm still finding it hard to deal with Livejournal 'RP' groups, or forums that require you to actually submit a character profile, or RETURN TO A BOARD OVER THE COURSE OF MULTIPLE (I say MULTIPLE!) DAYS. It blows my mind.

You have to join to read some of them, but it's worth it, and they/we're nice people, promise. There's not as much Anderson/Erica as there could be, sadly, but it's a good start! 142: Isn't it odd? We all want to bring healing and redemption to a character who seems to want neither one. Or just has no normal conception of how to go about finding them (and as paperclipchains points out, no socialization on the importance of bathing). Maybe it shows a defect in our liberal sensitivities :-P

140. Although there are much better reasons for relationships (emotional fulfillment, sexuality, etc.) this post made me completely aww.

ANYWAY. Ask someone out in your anime club, if you have one? Or just find someone to cosplay your character's love interest and do couple shots and not have it be any more serious? If not, I don't know where to look besides at cons, but lots of otaku of both genders are lonely, so it shouldn't be that hard. ;_;

(And then feelings will hopefully develop and you'll find yourself with a strong and wonderful bond far better than you anticipated, the kind of thing mangaka could only dream of. Or you'll wind up a broken wreck, or who you're with will.)

I totally understand how you feel, OP. It is a rather moving album, and the voice is just so beautiful. There's nothing wrong with being moved to tears by an album, even if it from a Prince of Tennis character.
