Are you my long-lost twin, secret maker? I don't think he's bad-looking, though the baby-face thing doesn't always work out to his advantage, but his looks don't rank highly on the list of things that make the character appealing for me. congrats on getting into wes! you picked a school with the most insane amount of variety in people, and im sure there are people here that will accept you and share your interests.

that being said, my freshman year roommate had similar interests to yours, really did not make an effort to find friends, and ended up transferring. its going to be a challenge, but if you keep an open mind im certain you'll have a great four years.

Don't worry, OP -- there are geeks at Wesleyan. I can tell you this as an alum who's still involved with geeky undergrad friends on-campus. I can't guarantee we'll share all your fandoms, but I like to think we're open-minded, and if you are too, you shouldn't have any problems. Do you roleplay? There's a great LARP group on campus. 147: I wouldn't call it a happy family movie at all. I mean, it's suitable for children, but it's an extremely sad movie. It's one of my favorites, but last time I watched it I said to my mom "this movie makes me sad" and she agreed that it was a sad movie. You're not alone on that aspect...but I don't know why the movie would make you feel alone. Why is that?
