152. I feel you. I feel like an anomaly because I'm not in fandom for the porn at all. I avoid the porn, even. I think it's because I prefer long, epic stories - I don't even like one-shots, really. If porn happens to be involved in the stories I read, fine, but it's not what I seek out AT ALL. Based on the picture I doubt we're in the same fandoms but you're not alone! ;)

162:There were aspects of his performance that I didn't feel really captured the character - mostly the way he used his hands. So I think I agree with you. Having said that, I suspect those was the director's decisions as much as the actor's.

Well, one of the characters in Leonard and Larry shipped Tchaikovsky/Brahms for a while - then the ghosts of the composers showed up and became regular characters, and Brahms explained the whole Clara thing. It's actually quite funny in the context of the comic.

But I'll totally read any fic anyone writes involving Benjamin Britten. Yow.

I met him at an Atlantis convention earlier this year (he plays a couple characters in SGA) and will see him in October for a Sanctuary con. But he IS fantastic as an actor. The way he changes his voice depending on the character and then lives and thinks as them - he seems to be very much a method actor in that he gets in their head, inhabits them as he plays them. And from there the voice which is...

It is great, isn't it?

Such a good actor. I think the entire hall at Peg4 just about exploded when he said he'd be doing this.
