I got the entire series set for Christmas last year. I had seen halfway through season three before then and loved the show (Luke is probably my favorite, with Lorelai in second).

I had to take a break sometime in season four because they were pissing me off.

I got back to it a while ago and have started season six.

I CAN'T STAND RORY ANYMORE.

The whole fighting between Rory and Lorelai? GOD MAKE IT STOP. I used to love this show, but it's making me really mad now.

They both need to just grow up!

I love that you love Kira. She is one of my favourite female characters in any of my fandoms.

I agree with you, too, that it is rather frustrating to be expected to like a character, just because she is female, or that makes me a misogynist or whatever. The standards I have for liking a character don't include their gender, and I'm not going to force myself to like a female character that I don't like, just because other people think I should.
