What is everyone doing this weekend?

I'll probably be trying to keep my brain busy for obvious reasons. I'll probably try take two of my crochet Frog. I messed up and had to restart. Also applying for remote jobs so I can leave my state sooner than later.

Are there pics of this crochet frog

Keeping my brain busy as well. Getting a massage tomorrow. Watching the rest of Obi-Wan. Finding something else to watch or read that allows me to escape to another, better world for a while. And trying not to overwhelm my kitty but still getting some very needed kitty time.

I got myself some wireless earbuds so I'm going to be putting some music on my phone so I have something to listen to on my daily walks since they're getting longer now. (I started out at 5-10 mins, and now I'm up to 15-20, it's not impressive or anything but I've been very inactive for a long time so I'm really happy my stamina's improving bit by bit).

gonna straighten up my apartment, do some stitching and crochet (making a crochet pencil case!)

I'm moving in 6 days and the plan is to move as much as I possibly can this weekend. I have family members with a van who are coming first thing tomorrow morning to help me load up furniture but there's boxes everywhere and it's hard to even really get to the furniture. So there's a lot I need to do tonight but I'm sore from all the stuff I've done already, I didn't get much sleep last night, I'm depressed because of today's news, and I still need to clean my car out so I can be moving stuff in it too but it's so hot outside and all I want to do is cry then go to sleep. :(

Yes! It's helped me identify the aspects of a relationship that appeal to me on both deep and superficial levels, which honestly is invaluable to me as a queer person growing up without many "models" of relationships that applied to me. Being able to engage and analyze ships in fandom gave me words for the things I'd always cared about.

Well, writing about my OTP living their best lives with a guaranteed happy ending helps me get through rough patches, so there’s that.

Almost every aspect of my approach to friendship and romance has been shaped by a two decades long introspection through fic reading.

So, long story short, I have a very good friend who is a Disney Adult, for lack of a better term. She loves Disney and has been over 100 times, has multiple tattoos of Disney characters, etc. I'm happy she enjoys it but I am sooooo not into Disney. Now I love star wars and have no real issue with Disney buying it, but I'm just not into the whole theme park thing, you know? But lately my friend has been talking about the two of us going to Disney together. She doesn't drive or fly so I'd be the one driving my car, a full day's drive one way, at great expense for gas, and then there's hotels, food, and tickets for the actual park. She wants to stay a week. I haven't expanded on this much but I got the vague idea that she wants to split the cost of some things but not everything, so I have no real idea what she expects. Honestly I'd rather get a root canal than go to Disney.

I guess my question is, how can I gently let her know that I don't want to do any of this? Ever?
