I completely understand this, OP, and it's one of the confusing parts of death. The lack of closure isn't always something profound--sometimes it's something so small and stupid that it feels ridiculous, because in the grand scheme it IS, but it's still a reminder of the loss itself. It's probably for the best that you let it go, but I just wanted you to know it's normal and okay to have these small things left over.

I was pretty much with you until I realized that this person apparently died, which escaped me on the first reading. If they died, then yeah, I do feel like getting over it is the obvious way to go. I mean, you can't help how you feel, and you made this a secret for a reason. But it does seem a bit absurd to me that you still give a damn about their bad take now. Unless maybe staying annoyed about this is your psyche's way of maintaining a connection with this person now they're gone.

What is a good US state, outwith New England, for mixed use farming? Livestock (cattle, goats, that sort of thing) as well as hay and small scale cereal cropping? Are any of the midwest states any use? TIA.
