I just assumed the system is so corrupt and on the side of the wealthy and famous that he would never face any consequences. I am reading that it is highly unlikely he will spend any time in jail, which is a shame, but I guess you can't have it all.

He won't spend time in jail most likely, and it probably won't make much election difference (though I don't think he'll win). But it was very important for the rule of law and for showing that he's not above the law. So I'm very, very happy.

Honestly... until I see him experience the consequences he deserves, I'm not going to celebrate. I applaud the jury for doing the right thing, though.

No matter what happens, if you're eligible, please vote down the ballot in November.

My heart calls New England home and there is just something that relaxes in me when I get to go back, but I also really love Utah and the desert. It's just so alien and beautiful to me and I could stare at those canyons for days.
