I just wish there was a place where I could love on both the EU and new canon. New canon places don’t talk EU, and EU places spend half their time hating the new canon. Why can’t there be a place for celebrating all of Star Wars?

Honestly I find sequel or prequel places more comfortable. EU and OT places tend to spend as much time bashing the sequels, prequels, and anything not OT or EU as they do loving on the stuff their communities are supposed to be about.

I feel like when Critical Role has guests on or a special episode it really highlights how naturally gifted the main cast is at roleplaying and improv and how tight they are as friends.

So many of the guests are just so awkward to watch. Or they’re just on a different wavelength than the main cast and it shows. And is awkward to watch.

TBH this dude’s energy is just a leetle too cheery for me, but then I’m not the target audience. I think we need this show in these dark times, though I’m sure it’ll look way too “woke” to parents whose kids need it the most. So I wish the show best of luck in their endeavour and I hope it’s a beautiful part of the young generation’s childhood like it was for me.

I suppose it’s too much to hope for that they keep the same theme song, though? I love that song, it makes my heart feel lighter.

I honestly find the handling of racism in the Netflix DMC anime to be dumb af. It’s dumb how they portrayed the demons as an oppressed ethnicity, but all the non-evil demons look almost entirely human but the evil ones look like monsters or plants. So basically the humanoid ones are the fantasy equivalent of lightskin and the evil ones darkskin?

Also the concept of making the demons Arab coded was lowkey problematic.
