My fandom used to have so many long one-shots and multi-chapter fic. Now there are mostly (very) short fics and chapters. They're still good, for the most part, but I often find myself missing the long, meaty fanfic.

I've tried being the change. I'm only one person, though.

I don't get people who say "I hate anime". Anime is an animation style that encompasses many different genres. I am not a fan of the stereotypical tropey/fanservicey anime with bug-eyed characters. But even I have found some gems of anime that i like such as: Full metal alchemist, studio ghibli films (Miyazaki is a god among men), cowboy bebop, grave of the fireflies, Berserk, Mononoke, Devilman and Death Note. Also Ghost in the shell.

As a kid, I had a rich friend with several American Girl dolls and all the extras. I never wanted the dolls, but I did covet the hell out of those accessories: the historical kitchen tools, the miniature food, the old-fashioned desks. Sometimes I thought about just stealing one or two little things. I thought she’d never notice – she had so much. But I never would.

I do love this movie. but I'm one of the weird people who prefers the book. This is definately one of the best adaptions ever. But I prefer the book version of Hammond and his epic death as well as a few other things.

I can't stand it when people give the "just write it yourseeeeeeelf" advice, anyway. I mean yeah, yeah, sometimes people could contribute if they see a fandom or ship that needs more love, but generally speaking it's such a condescending, low-effort way to shut down the discussion. I'm very certain that the people who give this advice would get annoyed if they were told that every time they had an unfulfilled need in their life.

Star Wars needs to stop bringing characters back from the dead. This applies to both EU and canon. Maul. Palpatine. Fett. Numerous Jedi. Enough. Death has lost its meaning in the Star Wars universe. Just give us new characters.
