I agree to some extent. She does react violently when she's upset or confused. There are obviously reasons why she's like that, not that they're an excuse. That scene though, I don't feel like it's a good example. That was more teasing and not real anger at having lost the bet. That's just my opinion though, maybe others saw that scene differently.

You know what you need? You need that Dragon speak-to-write software. That would make fanfiction so much easier.

Failing that, you could speak into a tape recorder and get a friend to transcribe it. It's what I would do, if I had friends who were more bribable and less busy.

101) Eh, I wouldn't stress it, at least you have a reliable form of inspiration. Mine comes from all over the place so when it's not there, I have no clue where to look for it.

102) Canon may be too great to inspire people to write. I know for me, if canon more or less covers it, I'm generally not inspired to write about it.

111) I'll just let you know, I absolutely loathe it when people spam a forum with random crap. That has got to be the most selfish, petty, attention whoring solution you could possibly come up with. It's far worse than correcting a person's spelling mistakes, which has some actual merit and many people appreciate. Most communities I belong to consider what you are doing a bannable offense it's that obnoxious.

If you don't care to know when this chick writes a new fic -- tell her. Politely. Via PM. Otherwise, let other authors fight their own fights. Don't drag fandom into your petty snit.

135) I never found K-pop to be emotionally stirring in lyric or tune and without that, there's really no point in listening. But ya know what? No one has ever gotten on my back for not listening to it. And yes, I have people on my f-list, and friends even, who love the stuff. The trick is to not try to convince anyone else that they shouldn't like what they like just because you don't. That's obnoxious.

143) The only times I see people asking for the fandom, it's quite relevant and was usually left out as a tease.

147) I didn't get involved in fandom until after I'd had my children. Fandom is one of the few hobbies you can indulge in with a bitty baby, since you can do it at home, at any hour, while nursing.

This does not bother me. At all.

The movie is NOT the animated series. And they have already decided to do a different take on it. Therefore, it is perfectly logical for the actor to avoid confusion by avoiding the series.

Don't feel bad. Your life is about to change significantly and it's true that you won't have as much time to yourself as you did before. There's nothing wrong with wanting to enjoy yourself a bit, you're human just like the rest of us. :) And like others have said, you don't have to give up fandom entirely. There's nothing wrong with feeling the way you do, afterall you'll have many years ahead of you to enjoy being with and raising your child. Congrats on being a Mom and enjoy fandom where you can!

139. Aggggggg, this is me, too. I'll be bursting with ideas and writing things in my head, but I won't hop to and do it full-out right then and the urge just fades. I keep finding little fragments that once made sense in my notebooks. Some of them are heartbreakingly full of potential. :(

Yes, because pop music elsewhere is so much more original and talented. :l Which obviously it's not. It's pop music. Would I bemoan a few talented artists, no of course not. But I'm in it for the cutesy interviews, outrageous outfits, addictive refrains, synchronized dancing, and shameless use of autotune.

And you don't have to like it, but don't go lecturing me on what music is valid and invalid. People can connect to a variety of music for multiple reasons, doesn't make yours any better.

This is me with my MitM WIP right now. I was supposed to update today. I don't think a lot of people are bugged that I'm not updating, but I'm feeling kind of guilty because my fandom is pretty dead.

Maybe it'd help if you carried a notebook with you? Or use Write or Die? Or set aside a consistent time where you allow yourself to do nothing but write? Doing stuff that makes it easier to write the second I think of the idea or puts me in a position where I can do nothing but write is pretty much the only reason I've written even one word down.
