Given that it's the Internet? Probably all over the world. Most of the people expressing interest in her are probably people who live halfway across the country or more from you and don't realize you exist. It's not like all the guys expressing interest in Marzgurl are guys you've met (if it was, you'd have remarkably bad luck), and there's nothing that says that if they were interested in a girl like Marz, and met you, they wouldn't be interested in you.

If it makes you feel any better, OP, if you seemed like a cool girl who was fun to be with and was around Marzgurl's level of looks, I'd be pretty interested. Just have hope and don't let it consume your life or you'll be all miserable, and being all miserable can often push interested people away.

Oh hey no problem! I'm not surprised you haven't heard of it - it didn't air outside of Canada for long. There's also Rise of the Argonauts, which is a pretty obscure Greek myth + history blender video game. And Warriors: Legends of Troy. And Disney's Hercules TV show, which isn't as obscure, but it came and went quick.

From my understanding this is a very small group of people. Someone got fired from their job because they made racist/anti-Korean statements on their twitter (a celebrity). For the most part, Korean culture is being welcomed with open arms, especially given the sales of groups like SNSD and KARA. Hell, TVXQ is performing the last performance at A-Nation, which is huge.

Attitudes are changing, and I do think that the Hallyu wave is a part of that. There will be some racists and some people who are close-minded, but those protesters are not the average person.

Peeta is my favorite character, but I was bothered by his lack of concern for his family. Sure, his mother abused him, and his brothers didn't try to volunteer to take his place when he was selected for the Games. But they just seemed to drop out of existence, and that always kept him from feeling like a fully-fleshed out character for me. I was especially surprised that we never saw anymore of his father; I would have liked to see at least him a bit more involved in his son's life in Catching Fire.

At least Peeta seemed kinda pissed about his family being dead in Mockingjay, but that seemed more like he only cared because he didn't love Katniss anymore. I wanted to see him more upset about that. I mean, without his family, and without Katniss, who else did he really have left?

I guess the problem with that is the story is told through Katniss's point of view, so we never got to see any of the time he spent with his family in Catching Fire or what he went through while recovering in Mockingjay... But for crying out loud, we got to know Gale's family more than Peeta's, and Peeta was the more important character. :/

On the flip side, I've had authors say "PLZ GIVE ME CONCRIT" and so I've spent hours of my time reading and editing and concriting works that I loved and wanted to see improved, only to get no reply, or rants in return. I can be a somewhat hard "beta" but if we/the POV character knows the other guy's name, there's basically no reason to use, for example, "the Asian boy" instead of calling him "George." Epithets are not cool. No matter how many justification excuses the author comes up with makes that less so.

So, as a result, I often don't offer to give concrit any more because it ends up being a waste of my time and the author doesn't actually want concrit; s/he just wants praise. But hey, if you mean it and don't write absolute crap and we have remotely overlapping fandoms, I might give it a try.

That's one of the best things about movies from the 30's and 40's. There were so many great character roles and great character actors.

Yeah, I know, it sucks when you don't ship the big ship in fandom, but you obviously can't stop people from shipping it, writing or making art for it, you just have to find other people that don't ship it. I know for a fact there is a considereable number of people in fandom that don't ship Steve/Tony, OP, and their corner of fandom may not be as busy but they're just as fun, you just gotta look for them.
