Like I told some other guy, take (modern) philosophy.

Arguments that porn infantilizes people or their perception and similar things are quite common, even without religious backing. Fair enough if you don't agree with philosophers' analysis of it but it's not like there aren't well-educated scholars who debate ethics and such who think it does more harm than good.

The closest I saw was Sex and the City when the four mains were watching gay porn for fun and I think one of them (forgot who) thought it was sexy. But yeah, it's not happening unless 'Girls love gays' means being friends with them or have one as a Pet Homosexual.

I don't think there's anything weird about that, honestly. In fiction there are certain roles and character types that are mostly filled by male characters and others that are mostly filled by female characters, but that doesn't mean that those roles are inherently masculine/feminine or that women who identify most with characters of a type that happens to be mostly male must have gender issues. The whole thing is mostly pretty arbitrary. And male characters, I think, have a greater diversity in the types/roles available to them anyway.

There is no normal reaction to trauma or manifestation of grief. You may not react a certain way, but that doesn't mean that it's impossible to care about the more "petty" things. We know from canon that he has nightmares. Personally, if I had all that happen to me, I'd like to at least pretend to have something resembling a "normal" life.

When I read the books, I saw a whole world being opened up to Harry of new things that he was allowed to try and learn about. Sure, not everything was allowed (and for good reason) but he wasn't nearly as confined as at the Dursley's. Brand new world, brand new things. And he dives right into it in some cases but IMO doesn't really embrace a very important part until much later than I thought made sense. IDK, something about his attitude in the books just seemed weird and off to me. Like, why aren't you studying boy?! HE'S TRYING TO KILL YOU!

I get the show. And my conclusions are that I find neither of the leads attractive, they're not good enough actors to compensate for that, and the show isn't well written enough to compensate for THAT. The End.
