17. I try not to use the terms too loosely, and I'm very sensitive to the subjects, but different things will offend different people. Violence is everywhere in the media and even in fandom and anime and manga, I don't see how those are any different. :I I find that sometimes the most overtly offensive people are the ones that are just trying too hard to make themselves comfortable with a situation by turning it humourous, even when it is the most unfunny of subjects.

Mmm, the main difference I make between violence and rape is that society still takes rape less seriously. :\ No one gets blamed for getting mugged, yet court cases are thrown out when the victim is known to be sexually active. It is, of course, incredibly subjective, but that's why I can't laugh off rape jokes as easily.

Aaanyway, your last point is an important one, and I know the internet does not actually represent the person behind the computer buuut... it's still a sore spot. Guess I'll just keep avoiding them, and we'll both be happy.

7. Book six sucked, when people asks me what happens in that book I don't know what to say, because nothing happened. There was the monster, Ginny Sue, and snogging, and nothing else, it was a pretty boring piece of badfic.

16. I didn't like T/T in the manga, it was when I saw the jdrama that I started to like them, I knew it was going to be T/T, but a part of me was rooting for Rui/Tsukushi.

2. Sometimes you have to make risks. I'm moving in with Fandom Friends! Well they were fandom friends. We don't share many fandoms anymore, but that's how things started.

Yes, I know I shouldn't...I only tell my closest friends and family though. It's because half the time, people either don't know what a "manga" is, or they do know and they would consider it childish. There's very few who are like you.

Sorry, normally I try to be polite on this issue, but it's a pet peeve of mine when "fandom old farts" stand around reminiscing about the fandom "good old days". PW still isn't a large fandom by most standards.

5. I'm Asian and agree with this totally- thinking less of someone for liking a country's culture is plain stupid.
It's like bashing an Asian for liking something American/English/Any other country. Every one is entitled to their own interests and likes.
