16. I haven't had a chance to see the drama yet (my computer fried the eps I had), but is that Tsukushi and ... Rui? (I'm gonna assume so.) I love Tsukushi and Tsukasa, but a part of me will always love Rui/Tsukushi, too. The two couples work in two very different ways, but I think they both do work.

24. Hahahaha. Oh man, Lantis is like eight feet tall. I have a huge problem with the height thing between the two of them, too, but I love the pairing, so I just try to ignore it. (I am a Clef/Umi fan, though. Randomly.)

4. I'm not really sure if I can agree with this because I don't really hang around the rest of the fandom (LJ community/Court Records/whatever else,) so I don't know what it's like. I don't really understand the idea that "growing fandom = BAD" though...Doesn't it just mean that you have more people to enjoy it with?

17. Yes, I just can't deal with that. It's not cute and it's not funny. Using phrases like "I want to rape Character X" or "they're raping my fandom," to me, belittles the trauma and pain of actually being raped. There's no way that usage of the word can actually compare. People need to think - that word can bring up a lot of crap for a lot of people and seeing it tossed about so loosely just makes me angry.

2. Why would you give that kind of personal information to ANYONE online?? I mean, I've had a lot of fandom friends, and usually it doesn't get any more personal than real FIRST names and home states. I dunno, it just seems irresponsible, even if you feel like you know your fandom friends inside and out. So you're cautious - nothing wrong with that. ;)

4. Eh, I JUST got into it so I'm definitely one of the people you're referring to, but just because we're on-the-bandwagon newbies doesn't mean we love it any less passionately than you do. I used to be like this in some of my other fandoms until I realized that even though it's popular now, it isn't any less awesome because of it.

Okay, why is it that everyone seems to interpret the Clef/Umi pairing in Magic Knight Rayearth? I think Ascot/Umi is definitely the implied pairing for her in the manga. Besides that, it's so cute. Am I the only one who sees it? Who never saw Clef/Umi?

I hope that doesn't sound snarky. It's just something I'm curious about.

I'm pretty sure Clef/Umi was only in the anime. The OVA had it too, but I couldn't watch that all the way through.

Dude, I know! They're so cute and full of bickering, but it's impossible to find anything in the Blood+ fandom that isn't Saya/Haji.

You might try the blood+ anonymous kink meme (http://lumoslumiere.livejournal.com/3334.html). It's the only place I've ever been able to find David/Julia, it might come through for other pairings too.

Another secret... there's very little I'm not willing to admit to faceless peeps, and this secret is not even a secret for me. I could care less if people knew it was me, and I've even admitted it to my rl friends who I see on a constant basis. Don't really ship any couples in Rayearth beyond AU and FF. I don't necessarily dislike Hikaru, but neither do I have a stake in what happens to her. She's just there. A character with an important role. Lantis and Eagle were cool and hot, but if I'm reading a fanfic I could care less how the pairing ends up going over there (it's like a third wheel addition to the story). I've read EH, LH, LE (Hikaru with no romantic interest or some random romantic interest), LHE... yadda, yadda.

As long as there's AU and FF, I could care less. ^_~
