You posted a Puli and a Russian Terror! er, Terrier! I remember seeing one when the breeders were petitioning to join AKC. As I have had Schnauzers all my life, I recognized the head as it rose up out from behind the table like a Lock Ness monster, and dragged my friend over so we could meet something that huge.

I fell in love, and would love to have one of them, but, alas. I will probably never have the money.

I'm kind of surprised you didn't show the gorgeous Tibetan Mastiff. :D They're another favorite.

Well, there was kind of a nortorious fan in the BBC Sherlock fandom that, from what I've heard, did some pretty crazy shit when Benedict Cumberpatch was in a stage play.

You don't have to be in a fandom to explore ideas, and if you hate everything else about a fandom including the canon, there's no point in staying.

Back in the '70's (I KNOW, FOREVER AGO, BUT WE STILL HAD BOY BANDS), one of my friends and her friends would dress up literally in the same outfits worn as the band members, and would stalk them throughout the southern United States area, following them from concert to concert. The roadies kind of got used to them showing up and would let them come into the concert halls. "If you stay quiet and don't scream or try to talk to anyone," they were allowed to sit up in the nosebleed seats and watch the band do set up and practices and stuff.

Well, one afternoon, they were leaving said practice/tune up session, and a bunch of girls were waiting outside to see if they could spot the band. Again, my friend and her friends were dressed in the band outfits, and had their hair cuts similar, etc. They were spotted by the girls - who screamed the band's name and started chasing my friend and her friends - and they wound up trying to escape a bunch of ravening girl fans, until said fans finally realized, "Oh, wait, those are girls!"

I'm so over this series already, but I dare you to take the time and effort to make something of your own. Sooner or later, you'll get the same sort of reaction from other people because what they would feel what they had imagined would be better than what you've thought up.

You're not special. You can talk all you want how you've make a better series, but in the end, you're probably just going to end up borrowing half the characters anyway.

Nope, I tried trolling anon in comments once and it even though I got a lot of people mad, it wasn't that fun. So now I think trolling is boring and I'd never make the effort of making a whole secret just for that.

I have a forced design on my friends page since...forever (2004ish), so idk if this will affect me any.

(Yes, I do still spend more time over there. What can I say, FS is my only reason for DW and since anon commenting is allowed, I've never made an account. I love that a link just pops up in my lj friends)

She may not like it, but would that be such a big deal? Friends can't have the same opinions about everything, and maybe a discussion about why you like the show and she doesn't could be both fun and informative?

I tend to watch all Sherlock Holmes adaptations I can get hold of, and while I didn't like Elementary I did watch it first. I haven't seen the great wank war people are talking about. Seems like a limited number of idiots on tumblr? I have a tumblr with which I follow some Sherlock blogs, and I haven't even seen a mention of Elementary.

Pretty much everything from the first Jurassic Park movie. I hear certain strains of those trumpets and start to tear up.

Robin of Sherwood (aka Robin Hood) had some wonderful background music, but Clannad did all of it, so.

Jesus, My husband was crying and told his mom about how she threw out his transformers and he man and he never got over it so she fucking ebayed them for him. I can't imagine how he would have been if the toys had actually died in the movie.
