I disagree with OP's actions, but, man, some of the reactions here aren't much better.

Try searching. There can't be that many characters named "Israfel Vacek".

If you liked PMMM, a lot of the same people did a show called Psycho Pass which is airing right now, and just as good.

It's more Blade Runner meets Minority Report then fantasy/adventure though.

:C

this secret made me sad for all of you

well, except for the rude person

(Anonymous) 2013-02-12 12:13 am (UTC)(link)
mostly it's just a kind of bitter attitude, i don't really think jasmine was a bitch, just bitchy at times. especially as compared to ariel.

(Anonymous) 2013-02-12 12:13 am (UTC)(link)
IIRC (and if this is the fic I'm thinking of), though the fic was taken offline the author was willing to send people the original fic if they weren't interested in buying the 'non-fandom' version of the book. Not sure if that's still the case (again - if this is the one I'm thinking of, that's how I got a copy). It's AU enough that it could easily stand as original fic and it's well written. Honestly, I don't see the problem or why there would be wank? They're not the first person to pull fic off the 'net in an effort to get published.

i want fic of Adam Levine the whinging clingy ex- if only to piss off his fans (let's face it, all his songs are whinging and clinging)

[personal profile] thezmage 2013-02-12 12:13 am (UTC)(link)
That does make the rap number make more sense. I know it always struck me as really discordant that the song was all sad about the breakup while the rap number comes in to say "screw you, I'm awesome!"

Is there a legitimate reason for the fandom hate for the nice person or is it just "being a bitch"?

If she's like, a bigot or scammer or something then I wouldn't feel too bad. Awful people can be nice.

But if she's just the victim of fandom's need to tear someone (preferably popular) down and circle-jerk on hate memes then you not speaking up for her (not even in anon!) is a dick move, especially if she was nice enough to a) lend you money, and b) drive you home! You don't have to white knight her until you bring the whole fandom down on you, but at least a comment that she's really nice IRL wouldn't go amiss. :/

Personally I think Ariel has cooler hair but Jasmine has a prettier face

They have similar bodies cause it's like, the only body type Disney could draw for a while there

Yiiis.

This should be just after I get up, but before I head to work.

Seconding this. Hard.

She's always been my favorite. I'm actually singing Pocahontas songs with my voice teacher right now and it is such a nostalgic experience. I love that character.
al28894: (Am I bad?)

What was the last ting you ate?

[personal profile] al28894 2013-02-12 12:14 am (UTC)(link)

It's a Roti Canai Bom! It's kinda similar to a Roti Canai but it has extra sugar and butter so it's even thicker and much fuller than a normal Roti Canai which are almost always paper-y and flimsy.

Oh, for all of you who don't know Malay Food, Roti Canai is a sort of flatbread that came from India and ended up in Malaysia and Indonesia. Rarely, but not impossibly do I eat this instead of rice, particularly for breakfast and dinner.

I was wondering this same thing ._.

(Anonymous) 2013-02-12 12:15 am (UTC)(link)
In the book, she's slightly crazy and tells Marius to go to the barricade because she wants them to die together (though she still takes the bullet for him). The musical makes her more heroic and selfless (and MUCH more attractive).

(Anonymous) 2013-02-12 12:15 am (UTC)(link)
They might as well have changed the names and published it as original fiction, since the names seem to be the only things in that OOC drivel that still have something to do with the series in question.

(Anonymous) 2013-02-12 12:15 am (UTC)(link)
Seriously. I think it's getting blown a little out of proportion.

AYRT

You'd think so, but Google is giving me nothing. Maybe OP got the names wrong.

I hate her character :(

Yes but that's not good enough! Contacting the author and asking for a copy would require some form of personal contact and it's much easier to just insult people online where you think they can't see you.

Re: Weird songs/music you like?

(Anonymous) 2013-02-12 12:15 am (UTC)(link)
dubstep is the opposite of what I normally enjoy

love it

also the Dishonored OST is the only time I've enjoyed ingame music. Normally I mute and play my own music

(Anonymous) 2013-02-12 12:16 am (UTC)(link)
She's beautifully drawn, and I think a lot of it comes from the fact she is drawn WAY more realistically than normal huge Disney eyes. The animation on the movie itself is extremely fantastic. Also, OP this woman:

http://11.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_ktewfyOarl1qzyw65o1_500.jpg

looks basically identical to Pocahontas. I loved her, but only up until she met John Smith. Then I feel she becomes a walking and talking encyclopedia for mystical Native stuff. All of the energy, spirit, joy, curiosity, etc just sort of disappears. I LOVE that she's the only Disney Princess that is shown to have an actual taste in guys. Merida and Belle both have more suitors, but you get the impression it's because they're just sort of gross guys in general, not because their personalities aren't her type.
