That's funny, I don't feel that way at all when people around me complain about being fat or out of shape. I usually just try to say something supportive to them like "you look fine" or, if they keep pressing the issue, I offer to support them in their healthy eating habits or exercise routine (by the way, I hate the fact that a lot of "fat acceptance" people seem to think both of these are horrible things, like, what the fuck, EVERYONE should be getting exercise and eating healthy regardless of what they look like or how large they are)

You haven't established that any evolutionary conditioned behaviour would be towards death specifically. I'll grant you an instinctual fear towards harm, drowning, or heights is probable, but death as a dissolution of self? You're going to need a bit more there.

What did you like about it? (Sorry if I sound bitchy; I was just so excited to be scared of monsters in the wifi that when the episode actually aired, it couldn't live up to the hype so I pretty much absolutely hated it.)

Yeah, but to be fair, it was after I'd lost a bunch of blood. The good part? I was already in a hospital - my mom was checking me on, and I was leaning on the counter next to her... next thing I knew she and a nurse and a couple of other people were holding me inches from the floor.

Needless to say I spent the rest of my waiting room time on a gurney...

I don't know, I think this is pretty silly myself. Certainly crimes against people of these subcultures should be taken seriously but hate crimes, really? It's fucking music and fashion and the majority of teenagers and people in general don't stick to goth/emo/punk lifestyles for life so it's not in the same category as sexual orientation or gender, what the fuck

And Dallas has some of the least restrictive gun laws in the nation, yet it comes in second with a rate that is fewer than 4 points away from Chicago's. It should be far lower if arming citizens has as big an impact as is claimed.

That's the one that messes it all up. Either you open the floodgates, or you kick it from the protected categories. Which given that the latter is politically untenable, leaves us with the former.

Not that I necessarily think that chart is fake or that the point isn't valid, but...two of the listed sources are plainly biased. That's a good way to torpedo one's credibility.

Well, one thing I've learned from the internet is that people would write porn and yaoi out of everything, so the notion of F!S being an apartment complex or a sitcom/drama isn't such a mindbender for me (well, except for the rule 34 part(s), if they exist).
