Well, I'm a huge Slayers fan who got drawn away from the fandom by current shows and I'm currently falling HARD for it all over again! Get out there and pimp the oldskool, maybe it will draw in new fans!

Hell, I'm also having mad cravings for shows that were airing before I was even born, like Captain Harlock, Lupin III TV, original Gundam, and Rose of Versailles.

Kinda helps that this season isn't all that great so far. Good time for nostalgia trips, guys

I got into it because it was like, the first anime my best friend saw and she always told me about it. She lent me her VHS copies (back in the good ol' days) and EEEEEEEE~ I admit I loved the characters. I never finished the series though. :(

I've only seen like three episodes of Lupin III on TV but they were really funny. :(

8 - La Boheme is a wonderful opera, but I do love RENT. Mainly just because the style of music appeals to me and it has some brilliant songs (One Song Glory, What You Own, La Vie Boheme in particular)

8. I stopped liking RENT when I realized a lot of the songs actually made very little sense.

9. fanon!Itsuki > canon!Itsuki, sadly enough. I love him for the POTENTIAL he has. I keep waiting for there to be a novel centering on him, because it could be potentially sexyawesome, because we know NOTHING ABOUT HIM.

17. I skimmed through the entirety of the Bount arc and disliked most of it and most of its characters. (Noba can stay.) But I'm not ashamed to say that I totally thought "threesome" at one point.

9. I love Itsuki, because I think there's so much of him we don't really know. I like imagining him being angry, being sad, simply not putting that smiling facade all the time. And to be honest, I find Kyon to be a bit of an asshole.

8. -pats- You can't expect everyone to know La bohème. Yes, it's a classic, but .. it's still opera. It's really not that accessible to modern audiences unless they already have a thing for opera. =/ it's sad, but still the truth. Expecting someone to know La Vie de Bohème is an even LONGER shot unless they actually looked it up.
