I don't get the crush either.

I suppose you can have affection for a public persona, but that's really the extent that it makes sense to me.

I'm usually bludgeoned by the perverse sexual lust aspect but I wouldn't call it a crush by any means.

I think 3D is horribly overused in all visual media (but particularly, animation) and in 90% of cases looks ugly as sin. I could do with seeing no 3D for the rest of my life, unless it's in the form of high-quality simulations of live action.

(using it for modelling stuff is obviously a-okay, too. This should be its primary purpose).
