Film Lando is actually my favourite character, but the bits of the EU I've read didn't really feature him much at all. Admittedly, I haven't read all that much (Thrawn, Hand of Thrawn, a few odd parts of X-Wings). I read the EU primarily for Pellaeon, so there's not much overlap.

Though, hey, if anyone has any recs for good Lando in the EU, I'd take 'em!

I've got to ask, how do you know that?

There's this site -- it's called Google -- and you type "Young Justice Season 2" into it and, oh wow!, all kinds of shit comes up.

(vaguely looking forward to the Hawkeye replacement. Not that there's anything wrong with Renner, but since the current run of Hawkeye has been so popular I'd love to see a filmed version of that).

Yes.

Things that are None of Your Business

Someone made a comment in a recent post to do with male slash authors that an author I thought was male is actually female. This is so completely not any of my business, but of course now I'm curious about it.

F!S, what are you curious about that is none of your beeswax?

No.

DA but it's a really, really widespread rumor that has allegedly been corroborated by his dressers, I believe

I just want to see what Peter does with the Doctor. At this point, I've stop caring about the plot because it's better than being continuously disappointed by them.

Yep. I understand people want to support their shows, but I'm just not about that paid subscription game.

Yeah, well, that's your opinion.

...Seriously though, I suppose I get why you'd say that, considering Kei's POV. He starts off as a very young guy -- with all that entails -- but has some extreme character development over the volumes.

Without the patronising attitude from above, I recommend watchcartoonsonline.com

Not really.

Stuff I'm interested in/hobbies are fields I'm just not cut out for as a career, so I wen with something solid and reliable instead.

ASOIAF is not a work in a genre that's compatible with serious analysis of social situations or with endings that are fundamentally driven by ethical-political concerns. Martin presents it that way especially in the earlier sections, but that's not fundamentally what it's about. An ending like the one OP wants is incompatible with the world of Westeros and with the narrative conventions that govern it.

Fandom has made me try a lot of different things; it's not a terrible thing.

It was only a few comments, started off with dreemyweird saying they didn't realize how problematic Piers Anthony was until they reread Xanth recently. A couple other people chimed in and agreed. That was basically it, unless more was added after I went to bed....

Prepare yourself, OP. Replacements, remakes, and re-tools are coming.

I think there was a secret about this a few weeks ago, where somebody said that somebody in Star Trek (or they specifically named him, I don't remember all that well) had a hefty penis. But I'm also a little woozy from allergy medication, so don't directly take my word for it.

Everything. I'm the worst.

I'm also really good at finding people who've switched accounts. It's a fun little game and I don't do anything more than that.

You could always only read the ones that are finished.

I don't think you should blame yourself for the way you enjoy media.
