48. Wow, way to be close minded. I own the headbands but I don't usually wear them ( I have before, always around my neck), and I am a relatively intelligent, mature person. Although it does get annoying seeing sketchy adolescents wearing them all over the place screaming "omg u guyz liek gaara is going to be the kazekage bet u didn't know that nub". Oh, fandom.

7. So, you really want to play the games but flat out won't because of the battle system? Why refuse to play a game that you want to play? Maybe if you gave the game a shot you could get into it enough? Have you tried borrowing the games off a friend or something and just giving it an hour to see how horrible you find it? (I hate FPS but still gave Dirge of Cerberus a shot. Never finished it and probably never will, but if you don't at least give them a shot you might miss out. I'd definitely suggest borrowing rather than buying though.)

9. I have a really hard time pairing him with any of the guys; in my mind, Cliff belongs with Mirage, and Fayt can just go fuck a rabbit, he's too goddamn boring and bland, sorry to say. So I pair Albel with Maria (courtesy of a really, really good fanfic I've read), unless you want to pair him with Roger... I won't even touch that.

Not agreeing with Albel/Maria because I just don't see it, but TOTALLY AGREEING with that hilariously accurate depiction of Fayt's character. what a lame main character

7. Erm, Final Fantasy up until X are all ATB, not turn-based. Besides, there are games that aren't turn-based or even ATB, Kingdom Hearts is NOT the only one.

29) Agreed so much. I don't keep up with mass amounts of animanga like the average fan does, and the stuff I get into is little known or obscure stuff. Obviously, I'm going to play characters from those series. It's not fair for muns with lesser known characters to be ignored just because the other muns don't know who they are. I'm sure there's some aspects of our role-playing you can concrit without canon familiarity.
41) Uhh...frig. PoE!Moses and JCS!Judas Iscariot are dag hot. I feel your discomfort. I went to Catholic school from pre-school to eighth grade. I also had a teenybopper classmate who thought Jesus in a tilework on the school church's altar was hot, and having the hots for our Savior is really awkward.

41) HOLY CRAP I was watching Prince of Egypt the other day and Moses is okay, but OMG. RAMSES. OMG.

SO HOT.

None of the Mana games are turn-based. In fact, Legend's system is the closest to turn-based the series has ever gotten, what with the amount of staged battles it has. The other games require that you run around and attack things and things attack you if you don't. There's no menu, no waiting, no making a choice and then sitting back.

Honestly, if you'd even looked at the games, you'd have seen that. It's not rocket science.

Pick up Odin Sphere if you're so anti-turn based, though. It's a side-scroller mixed with an RPG. Whine about that one being turn-based and you're pretty much a lost cause.

If you haven't already, give Jonathan Strange and Mr. Norrell and The Ladies of Grace Adieu, both by Susanna Clarke, a try. They're full of fairies who are either assholes because they love it, or because they just have a short attention span and get bored easily.

As another sick-of-perfect-winged-fae fandom person, I found that really satisfying. ;)

Oh god, yes. You are not alone. I go to the Underworld level just so they can be together. It's sad and I've never found any good fiction with them.

43. Far from being afraid, I wanted to have pyro-rific mitochondrial powers after that game... and I probably shouldn't be admitting that, because it makes me sound like a psychopath.
