7: Amusingly, I'm the opposite so I know where you're comming from. I'm not as fond of real-time, because I'm not good at tactical button mashing; too much finese required in too short a time span. I prefer the sedentary pace ot turn-based RPGs. I might try FFXII over the X-mas and see how it goes. ^_^

29 - I feel your pain. =[ My characters are so obscure and even if I comment on other people a lot with them, they hardly get any interaction in their own journals.

33. Okay, except for the hygene part, I really have to disagree with this. Attraction is a weird thing and in the end it's all about different strokes for different folks.

A lot of people like quirkiness. When I was in high school, I had a HUGE crush on a girl who happened to be the most dorky, geeky, mousy girl on the face of the planet. She'd come to school in mismatched clothes. When she was overwhelmed, she'd get in a fetal position under the table and yell, "Holy mother of god!" She had weird mannerisms and blurted things out at random. She sat funny, like L. She never wore makeup and her hair was always a royal mess. She was scatterbrained and lost her shoes and other clothes all the time. And I thought it was the most adorable, sexy thing ever and I wouldn't have changed it for anything.

L isn't trying to be a jerk. He's being himself, and that's what I like about him (and that's what I liked about my ex-crush). So, I guess the non-tl;dr version of this: attractiveness is subjective.

I KNOW I'm late for explaining this, but oh well. Hear me out.

I just want to clarify on my secret. I find turn-based boring. I find it unrealistic. I find it irritating when you have to walk over an area a la Pokémon and then get zapped to a separate screen.

I didn't realize the other Mana games weren't turn-based, so thanks for that. And thanks for the other recs as well; I've been meaning to play the Tales series because I've heard so many good things about it, and now I have a reason to.

After reading the recs and the "Well it's not TOTALLY turn-based" explanations, I feel more inclined to check out some of the turn-based recs.

I guess tl;dr: Thanks for the comments and recs. I feel a lot better now.

2. You speak the truth of truths. Have you ever read the Uncyclopedia article on BLEACH? Funniest damn thing I've read in months.

44. Yes. Yes, I can do nothing but agree. This is the second most tear worthy moment in the whole damn show for me, first being Chopper's flashback, and it's one of those things that just get to me. Every time. Robin smiling while she's crying, and then CUT! To the present, where Luffy burns that damn flag and just goes FUCK EVERYONE AND THE PAST AND THAT SHIT WE'RE HERE TO SAVE YOU! and I... damn. Rollercoaster between deepest despair and greatest hope. I love you Luffy. I love you Robin. Oda I would love you with my body if you weren't already married. Also this scene just feeds the monster within me that craves Luffy/Robin like a craving thing DON'T LOOK AT ME LIKE THAT I know One Piece isn't for shipping and that it doesn't make much sense but I adore it anyways. Franky's awesome and all, but Luffy and Robin will always be my fave.

2. I AGREE SO MUCH ;;________;; I LOVE the clothes that he draws.
7. I AGREE. I have played Final Fantasies from VII to X and XII and while they are great, I think XII is the greatest. Mostly because it's NOT TURN-BASED. After few years and games like Kingdom Hearts, the turn-based battle system makes me so FURIOUS. I want to push push push the buttons until my fingers bleed, not wait for my turn... D:
