7. Well. That's fine if you don't like turn-based games, but...saying that "I REFUSE to play a turn-based video game!" = "I CAN'T play a turn-based video game!" is kind of silly. You really don't like turn-based combat systems, so you choose not to play games that use them. That's fine, but, y'know, it's not that YOU CAN'T.

idk. But I agree, it bugs me when people act like Albel/Nel has the sort of canon support that Fayt/Sophia and Cliff/Mirage have. It's fine if you want to ship it as crack, but there's NOTHING THERE except for the fact that they're the only adult, conventionally pretty PCs from Elicoor III. Clair/Nel has way more evidence than it even if it's not technically canon either.

And if you choose the right options you can make Albel hilariously gay for Fayt, which is more than you can say for his relationships with anyone else. Hurray for alternate endings.

11. YES. Granted, Yuna's not one of my favorites--I don't like her VA and that kind of turned me off the character early on--but how in the world can you say she's weak? Passive, sometimes, yes. A little too trusting at first, a little too eager to help everybody, but that doesn't necessarily mean weak. I hate hate hate that attitude so much. Fuck you, masculine-strength-obsessed pseudofeminists giving real feminists a bad name.

27. Well, uh, I haven't played the game, but I've heard it's based loosely on the justice system in Japan, which is significantly more biased against the defendant than most Western systems, including the US's. So (and I'm not entirely sure if this is what you're getting at) if you're complaining because the system it shows is nothing like the American (or Canadian or British or whatever) one...there's a reason for that.

I dont know..Manga Mamoru is pretty sweet, while Manga seiya is lacking. But anime Mamo is just... I dont know, he has some HORRIBLE moments when it comes to Usagi. Seiya was more real I guess, if that makes any sense. He was fun and young, and liked Usagi from the begining. Mamoru didnt seem to pay attention to Usagi till he found out she was the Princess. Yea he protected her BEFORE finding out, but, what what real men do.

It's really personal preference. Sometimes I'm in a Seiya mood, sometimes a Mamoru mood :O

1. I don't know the philosophies espoused by any of those characters, but it seems to me like some fangirls will agree with anything said by a reasonably interesting hot guy. XD Aizen?? Aizeeeen?? I'm still waiting for your reasons!!

7. Turn-based battle systems decide what games I play? I feel bad for you. :\ When your own prejudices/elitism/whatever stops you from doing things that you want to do because it's different/not as good... I'm sorry.

ETA: I'm not saying that these games are perfect or even that their battle systems are good. Just that they're good games, overall, and one aspect shouldn't be the only thing that keeps you from them if you WANT to play them.

9. I don't get the Albel/Nel thing. First of all, Nel/Clair is practically canon. (And it's awesome.) But second of all, I don't get any of the fandom's preferred Albel pairings. I want Cliff/Albel.

I dunno, I think the same thing could be said of, say, people who have an interest in survival horror games but refuse to play them because they're too scary. The same question can be posed as well--it's an understandable reason, but is it really worth dropping the game altogether, even if it means missing out on an amazing story?

I just...I HAVE to say something here.
When I was little, my favorite two My Little Ponies were a sparkly blue one ("Rocket") and a sparkly orange one ("Sunny.") Sunny sort of curled into Rocket's neck when they stood together, so I knew it was supposed to the girl. But, I never could see it as a girl, I always thought it was a boy. That didn't keep me from thinking they should always stand together and be a happy couple.
In short...
